As a female in 50s travelling on business on her own. Rooms are conftable, and have everything you need. This Hotel is friendly. Staff are very helpful. It feels very safe for loan traveller. You get fresh milk for a cup of tea. Room service is good. Defiantly recommend . Thank-you Velvet. Mary Lawn. Would like to see fresh flowers in the Hotel.

Impeccible cleanliness, lovely extras like a welcome tray, bathrobe and slippers and double bath. Good location, weren't bothered by noise as were out late ourselves. Never seen one other guest or bothered by anyone during our trip other than to deliver fresh milk and ice bucket. We also ordered breakfast in the room which was fantastic and plentiful! Highly recommend. Nothing!

Really great staff. Incredibly friendly. Room was big and well decorated/situated. The hotel has a bar/club inside and the noise in our room was pretty bad until about 3am. Not good for light sleepers. I also paid for a room away from the club but the noise was still bad.

Everythng was impeccable from the moment we arrived until we checked out, a really lovely hotel where all the little details were attended to. Can't fault anything about this hotel .

We loved everything about the place, we stopped in a Penthouse suite and it was perfection in detail. The staff and bar staff were really nice and polite. The room was lovely, clean, modern. Room service was available with a smile.Whats more you are gauranteed a good night as your on Canal Street and its Manchesters gay community village. We loved it, Viva Velvet Hotel !!!! There is nothing to not like.
