Friendly, helpful staff; good sized family room; excellent breakfasts for us and the kids. The hotel in general and the room we stayed in needs a bit of TLC; the décor and maintenance of the place needs a bit of a lift. But it was great for a family with three kids, a pretty convenient location and we would use again for definite.
The staff looking after us were extremely friendly. Although it was out of season they made us feel welcome. The cooked breakfasts were really good!
The staff The view The room
We felt part of a family!! It was an amazing experience.
Such a warm friendly atmosphere, staff really helpful and caring. Fab room, fab breakfast, all in all a very happy experience
Friendly staff; spacious, clean family room with a great sea view; good breakfast and good location. Our boys made use of the tennis court, pitch and putt and football goals. Overall, really good value for money
Lack of wifi in bedrooms. With phone signals poor on the island, good wifi would have been really useful
Location, peace and quiet, view, breakfast.
Tired bathroom, no complimentary toiletries,
This place is great and quirky. Staff were excellent. Very dog friendly
Breakfast pretty ordinary and you need to be aware that this is not easy walking distance from the esplanade, so you really need your own transport. With some TLC (and a bucket load of cash) this place could be excellent but it did have a Fawlty Towers feeling to it - but in a good and amusing way
We were remembered from a previous visit, and got the room we asked for. Will be going back again!
Easy to walk to local attractions, nice swimming pool, pleasant staff.
The decor and indeed the hotel in general was a little tired.
I was a very quiet location with great view of the sea. very good if you are very sporty.
The Hotel looked old & Electrical wiring was a Joke. The Food was very limited.
Lovely location and views from restaurant and bar Good breakfasts
The hotel needed a lot of work doing to it and parts of the ground, the games room and public areas were run down. Also ordered a bacardi and coke in bar and coke was in large bottle and was flat. So didn't drink in there again!
Location overlooking sea, and the grounds. Homely Easy stroll into town. Great staff Easy parking Slightly heated pool Tennis court Radio in bedroom
The balcony was very tired Flat roof view below. TV was limited, and had bad reception. Would have been nice if breakfast room had opened out onto garden or had choice of eating outside, as very warm inside.
The building was nice and it was probably good in its day but a bit run down now though.
the room was not very nice. not good value for money. water damage on ceiling and bedroom, paper pealing in both rooms, big crack in the bedroom wall, black mould around the windows. too over priced at £125.00
Staff, views out to sea, garden and quality of food all excellent.
Condition of the house, has been allowed to be rundown.
The energetic and enthusiastic staff with miles of smiles
The general décor was a little tired. But you get what you pay for!! Generally good value+++!!
friendly staff good location
Excellent Views, good central location
A little dated décor
Staff was nice and friendly.
There was no lift! It was struggle to get my luggage and young children to the third floor. Carpet was dirty and smelly!
The staff were great and couldn't have been more helpful and friendly
Friendly, helpful staff. Would defo stay again!
Very nice spacious family room, one of the best breakfasts I have had at this type of hotel and lovely grounds with a fantastic view.
Maybe a little dated room the edges, family rooms are on the third floor, parking was a bit of a squeeze. Staff were not the most accomdation for those with respectful quiet children.
Location and view. Breakfast is good.
Hotel in need of refurbishment. Swimming pool is not hygienic for use. Not good value for money.
Friendly atmosphere, great pool & breakfast. Very happy to overnight our bikes.
