Staff especially reception and restaurant, excellent meal, central location with car parking although tight.
Being in a city Friday the street noise from revellers and sirens.
Location and lift access straight down to quayside
Unable to use hotel bar (lovello) because I was wearing trainers on a weekend! Door Security mite consider hotel guests differently.
The room was lovely and easy to get to the bars such a good night defo be back to stay
Fantastic location. Lovely hotel with a comfortable room. Very clean and champagne on the roof is fab!
Couldn't get wifi to work and paper wasn't delivered. Had breakfast delivered to the room and it was too dry. No beans, tomatoes or sauce even though they were requested.
Ease of check-in and check-out Excellent location Excellent standard of hotel Friendly and helpful staff Gorgeous surroundings Lovely breakfast
Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly & helpful. Free parking
Location - fantastic, as in a fantasy location. Access to facilities very good. The car parking is a huge asset that the hotel could make more of. All of the staff were helpful, though this did mean that the customers tend to take advantage of that.
Very little: The trains were unobtrusive; the a/c upstairs intruded more. the bridge traffic was audible only with effort. While we were there both times there was building work in progress - and we struggled to observe any effects upon the customers.
Disappointed that that the sky lounge wasn't open even though the weather seemed fine.
Very smart all round
Price of drinks
all of it....
Location was excellent room was cosy and clean for the reduced price we paid. Had we paid the full rate I would have been very disappointed with the room we were given
We were located at the back of the hotel. The room was very small and hot but we had to close the window because of the noise from the trains thus when I opened the window at 4 am because I was hot I was kept awake the rest of the morning from the noise
Very comfortable room with stunning view over the River Tyne and Quayside
Car parking was somewhat chaotic, despite outstanding efforts of concierges to cope with the excess of cars for spaces available.
Convenience to city centre Very good breakfast
Bathroom small Furnishings/furniture old but suit style of hotel
Excellent dinner with friendly service.
Bed not very comfortable
I loved this hotel it's beautiful spotless and the staff were amazing so central really made our stay will be back
Couldn't get the wifi
Food was better than excellent. Staff were friendly & helpful - even parking the car and returning to the main entrance when needed. Central position in Newcastle with entrance at city level and also quayside level - to save climbing 6 stories.
Minor point: Room was a bit dark so could have benefited from some extra lamps.
Centre of city Recently refurbished Staff friendly and very efficient
Was shocked when arrived as it looks very opulent (too posh for me!). Lovely hotel very well situated. Town centre on the doorstep and easy access to surrounding areas. Some redecoration going on but had no effect on stay.
A very enjoyable stay. Will certainly make a return visit.
I liked the fact it was close to the town and the castle breakfast was good too
close to the centre with car parking
breakfast too expensive
parking, nice bar area, food ok.
shower curtain, noisy trains early in morning.
Staff attitude Room was terrible, doors hanging, hot, small, terrible
The staff in the door and at reception were all extremely polite and helpful
I requested a room with a nice view but got one if the side facing rooms facing the railway. My Previous stay I had a lovely river view
Staff, Redwood Bar, Location and Free Car Parking
