The Vermont Hotel    

Spacious room. Free parking. Location. Quiet.

Breakfast expensive AND of poor quality. This is a once-grand hotel, now fading. I prefer it to the typical budget chain offering, but be aware that it's a bit tired. (To be fair, it seems renovations have started.) If the price is right I would stay at the Vermont again though.

The professionalism and friendliness the staff showed at all times. The feeling of luxury and comfort too.

Luxury feel of the hotel and value for money.

The fact that that even though we turned up at the hotel 25 minutes after the checking in time we still had to wait another 45 minutes for our room to be ready for us. This meant we had to rush to get ready as we were going to a concert at the arena in the evening.

The room 1019 Was Far too dated for a so called 4* hotel. Tv didn't work- no bbc 2 and sooo out of date. Lifts always stopped at floor 6. No fridge for mini bar, drinks in a cupboard.

The main bar and reception were very good. The breakfast was excellent. Very close to river and shops. The staff were very efficient and welcoming.

Thought the television needed updating and also the bed was too soft and felt like it needed replacing.

Good location, friendly staff, nice surroundings in public areas.

Beds uncomfortable, smoke detector missing from ceiling. Beeakfast was poor (cold food) and not good quality.

The hotel is really close to the city centre and walking distance from the train station

The carpet in the bedroom smells, the breakfast was awful, I had the harsh browns and they were not cooked properly, The beans were hard and watery. I asked for Earl Grey tea with lemon but they didn't have lemon. I had to pay as soon as I checked in, the receptionist said that this is to avoid too many people queuing in the morning. I travel a lot and stay at hotels all the time and this is the first time that I hear such a thing. The price doesn't match the quality, I would expect something different for what I pay

Room service took too long. Wait for checkin, staff there but only one doing checkin.

The staff were amazing !!! That makes it all ! Me and my fiancé drove from aberdeen and when we arrived early the girls on the front desk could not have been nicer !! Can't rate it enough!!

The bed was very comfortable Most of the lights were low energy

1)Too many items of furniture in room nearly had a accident when getting up during the night too use facilities 2)The television too old fashioned to low down to watch in bed and sound limited (having sight & hearing difficulties ) 3) The cold water bath tap needed a muscle man too turn on and off 4)Being slightly disabled I was annoyed and distressed when getting in bath too find to so called handles loose and so had difficulty getting out of bath 5) The use of a multi adapter on the main electric socket(is that legal in a hotel)

- Lacking a warm welcome on arrival - Rooms are old and tired; stayed in a Junior Suite which was very basic and not to the standard I would expect - Breakfast and service was shoddy - Better hotels in the area from the same cost

City entre location Comfort Price especially on a Sunday night

Could be a problem parking if the hotel was busy as there isn't much car parking space.

Wonderfull location we were going to see a show at the sage so it was not far away loads of bars and restaurants on the quayside close by . Our room was elegant its a lovely hotel and parking insite great night.
