Food and bar were very good. Staff helpful and pleasant.Great selection of locally made gin and vodkas.
Our room was very small compared to others so check what you're booking. No Sunday papers in the bar was a shame. Lacked the presence of anyone in charge although the young staff did their best.
Everything , the room was very well furnished , excellent very clean bathroom and super comfortable bed breakfast was well cooked and all local produce . Staff were very friendly and very helpful i would 100% recommend this hotel,
Location, appearance and style of the hotel. The staff were helpfull and provided good service including a welcome drink in the bar on arrival. Excellent choice of hot and cold food at breakfast.
Manager made no effort to meet our request for a table for dinner. Stated reason was that restaurant was too busy until much later (too late for us). But we returned from eating elsewhere to find it less than half full at time we had requested. Very small bedroom at rear of house meant we had to move furniture to get our suitcase in.
The food - expensive but awesome (worth the money). The cocktails. The decor. The room was cosy in size but with a lovely big bath and lovely complimentary items including bath robes, mint tea, and a sewing kit. Would be a lovely venue for a wedding! Staff are super friendly and attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.
Traditional and modern combined in an amusing way, re the picture by downstairs bathroom, loved it and everything about this hotel. So comfortable, clean and friendly. Highly recommended.
The picture in the website that surely doesn't do it justice to this beautiful place.
Excellent staff - Sophie Lunch was excellent with Tyrells roasted veg Liked the Vodka / GIn giveaways on checkout Early check-in 11 ish was much appreciated
Toilet seat too high for comfort Bees were joining us in the room !
We loved the views and situation.Easy to find & despite being just off the road we were not aware of traffic noise. Liked the slighty quirky decor. Beautiful Georgian property with modern furnishings. We had a spacious suite and it was great . The bed was enormous, extremely comfortable with white immaculate bed linen. The large bath in the room was a great touch - excellent large walk in shower in the en suite too. Loved it , a real treat. Would not hesitate to recommend it. We had a dinner , bed and breakfast deal- extremely good value.
Our only real complaint was the time we had to wait to be served for drinks and meals, especially dinner The dining room was by no means full! The staff front of house were delightful and were very helpful and welcoming. Also we were unable to get wifi in our room although it was available on the landing outside and in the other public areas. Not really a problem for us though.
Superb place, lovely people, Great decor, nice vibe and only a few mins from Ledbury/ eastnor castle, which was ideal. Try their own label wine and spirits too!
The moment we arrived the young lady that greeted us was lovely. The room was fabulous & spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent.
Lovely little country hotel near Ledbury. Room a little on the small size but very comfortable bed and pillows. Nice outside area to sit.
The room was very clean and the decor superb as was rest of the hotel. The breakfast again was superb -the best poached eggs ever!
The room size was a bit small plus no view from window
room was stunning at a reasonable price. staff were very professional and friendly
Comfortable room, with great staff. Would loved to have spent more time at the hotel. Breakfast was excellent and the Bar menu looked great too.
Room was a little small
Beautiful Views Lovely building and gardens Breakfast was good value and staff accommodated dietary requests
No one at reception, had to search the restaurant or bar Was never able to get Wi-Fi in the room
Decor, food, staff & ambience
Nothing. All good.
An amazing place, with excellent staff, food and facilities, cannot recommend it highly enough.
Location, the hotel itself.
Had to find the staff even at breakfast. Items on menu not available. Very poor buffet breakfast, they actually found some cornflakes on our last day. The dinner menu too fancy for us. Breakfast over cooked on our first day. All the signs of a hotel run by young people without supervision. We will not return or recommend this hotel. They need to get their act together.
Excellent food in restaurant.
The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms as shown in the photos and very comfortable and spacious. Enjoyed our evening meal and the garden setting. The breakfasts were very good too.
My husband and I stayed her for a wedding. The staff were very accommodating when we had to check in a little earlier and they were very attentive. Customer service was second to none. The room was basic, a bit over priced for £100!! I would stay here again for the service and great food. The room was ok but it was the people that made the place. Lovely views from the hotel too.
Over priced for the room we had.
To have a first class restaurant on site was much appreciated. The bed was comfortable, excellent pillows. I liked the ground coffee available with the coffee plunger.
The toilet in our ensuite was too tall for me to sit on it. I was forced to use the women's toilet downstairs.
first rate accommodation in a beautiful setting. food excelent really enjojed dinner and breakfast. friendly staff, could'nt find fault with our stay.good value for money.
Fantastic superior room with beautiful views really comfortable bed and a big ensuite
We weren't told about a party going on there, played music well past 12.30
Lovely building & very comfortable room.
No one at reception for checking out...had to get the cleaner to track someone down. No apology was given.
