A warm friendly atmosphere awaits you in this comfortable and spacious period home. Please note that the Vicarsford Lodge guest house is located 7 miles from St Andrews. The unique location of Vicarsford Lodge will ensure a picturesque stay. The Lodge is situated in an area literally surrounded by a number of nearby golf courses and peaceful beaches. You will find it very cozy in the winter months with the armchairs, sofas and log burning stove in the comfortable lounge. Alternatively, in fine weather you can relax and watch the world go by in the garden or glass sun lounge.

The proprietors were extremely accommodating and made us feel right at home. The room had everything we needed, was clean, and very comfortable. The guest house is in a lovely, quiet location a short taxi ride outside of town, which was perfect for a good night's sleep. Although the house is adjacent to a pig farm, and the smell outside is strong for those who aren't accustomed to it, there was no trace of it inside the house.

The sevice was wonderful and the owners lovely to meet, a family run establishment that offered a wonderful sevice and provide large comfortable rooms and a friendly atmosphere. They accomodated any request made and were most helpful.

The friendly welcome , and clean, fresh accommodation.Good wholesome food and help with places to eat out. The property is located quite near the road, although we did stay over a Saturday night; I expect that there would be less traffic during the week.

very nice lady and man of the house. room were so clean and comfortable. the lady was so flexible with young children too. perfect room setting for family to stay. the instruction to get to the hotel wasn't quite right on your website. just the las two lines was not correct. it sould have been" take 2nd left toward b945. the house is on the left hand side, appox 1mile." because of wrong instruction we took a long time to find the hotel. please amend this for the next customer. otherwise everything was great.

Suite independiente muy limpio anexo a la casa principal con dos habitaciones y cuarto de baño. Camas confortables. Preciosa terraza cubierta para tomar el desayuno rodeado de plantas y flores. Queda a unos 10-15 minutos en coche de St. Andrews y es solo accesible en coche.

Le petit déjeuner Anglais copieux et aimablement servi dans une belle véranda donnant sur une jolie terrasse arborée et d'où .... on ne voit pas les cochons ! ;-)) Le bruit des voitures passant à grande vitesse sur la petite route de campagne. En tout les cas pour notre chambre qui était à moins de 5 metres du bord de route, mais pas génant au milieu de la nuit car peu fréquentée à ces heures là. La vue des chambres donnant côté cour sur un élevage de cochons !.
