Friendly, helpful, informative.
We thoroughly enjoyed our five night stay at the Vicarsford Lodge Guest House. Audrey and Ian are very friendly and accommodating. Made us feel very welcomed! Breakfast was wonderful and our room was very spacious. We will stay there again!
GROUND FLOOR WITH LARGE ROOMS AND BATHROOM. GREAT HOSTS IN A LOVEY HOME FELT VERY COMFORTABLE STAYING THERE.EASY PARKING .GREAT HOSTS.
SHOWER OVER BATH .
We were happy with our experience there
Very quite location Attractive scenery
Very traditional, outdated (for me) style of room and furnishings Not much choice over not very exciting breakfast
Instructions given on location could be made clearer, example told to turn opposite the St Michael Inn on B945. 2 to 3 miles down.
large room and bathroom, friendly hosts, quiet location
Friendly staff. The rooms were very nice and clean.
nothing, all good
Breakfasts were to die for.... anything you liked beautifully cooked ...very hospitable.Audrey and Ian could not have made us feel more welcome. Big bed in our room... so comfy, fresh towels and tea making facilities. Audrey makes her own preserves fom her own home grown fruit. Ian's porridge is top notch.
It was a wee bit away from St. Andrews main town so we did have to use our car to get to town. There is a bus service but not so good at weekends.Lovely coastal paths and walks nearby , if you just want to chill. Absolutely idyllic setting and near Tentsmuir forest and beach, which is beautiful.
Warm and gracious place. Picture perfect outside, and beautiful inside.
Location was out of the way.
Clean and polite host very friendly. ..
wifi not connected to the rooms and no fridge in the family room...and slow shower need more power.
Audrey and her son were delightful Good breakfast Good location near St. Andrews
Dead flies on the sun porch A bit hard to find because the postal code isn't at the location
Home cooked breakfast GreAt location to St. Andrews.
I know the lady had problems when we arrived, but had a shock to find the place empty, and had to go and find other accomadation
very clean and quiet very good room decoration
No wifi in the room. Shower is slow
The owner was a very pleasant lady who went out of her way to make our stay excellent. She made raspberry jam and clootie dumpling while we were there
It might be in countryside and you need a car buses are available to st andrews dundee etc the owers are very nice and put a lot into looking after guests. Its quiet and restful I really enjoyed the whole stay.
Friendly owner. Very clean. Good breakfast. Willing to recommend local wildlife viewing spots aswell as food , etc
The owners were so friendly and helpful, would have no hesitation in going back there ! Alan Davidson.
quiet location friendly atmosphere really good breakfast comfortable bed
excellant hospitality, very friendly & welcoming owners, breakfast was superb. would definatley use this lodge again
I liked the cleanliness of the rooms, the comfort of the beds and the warm hospitality of the staff.
I didn't like the fact that the guest house was located in quite a rural location, quite far from St Andrews, when I thought initially that it would be closer.
Liked the friendly welcome we were given on arrival. Also the comfort of the bed that gave us a comfortable sleep, and the way the bathroom was disguised as a wardrobe was a nice surprise when u opened door to walk into a lovely big bathroom. Breakfast was lovely too so would reccommend the vicarsford B&B.
Nothing i did not like.
