The staff on the front desk were really helpful and friendly! The rooms were basic but clean and just what we needed for our stay. Also thought the breakfast was good
The bathroom could do with a bit of a refurbishment, but nothing drastic!
Location, staff, room space and ensuite
A bit noisy (it is an old building), dated decor, little options for breakfast
Location was good - just 5 minutes from Victoria station.
I was placed on the 5th floor without an elevator and I had to carry my bag up there. In other hotels without a lift I was directly told to leave my bag at the reception and someone would bring it to me, but not here. Facilities are old, dinning room is used as a storage room as well.
Good location and relatively cheap, friendly staff, toilet facilities were clean and fine
Small rooms, not suited for just hanging out.
The location is great.
We did not like the fact that they gave us a room located in the basement very small and based beside the kitchen and the store room and there were many noises very early in the morning.
Location was good. . Lady receptionist was very courteous. Rates are quite reasonable. Near to under ground train station.
Very clean comfortable hotel and excellent breakfast room With beautiful tableware With good breakfast. Bus stop outside hotel so easy access to Victoria bus and train station .
Location, Discounted price
Room too small. Bath drain was blocked.
Rooms were clean, stuff was kind.
The breakfast was bad, only toast with butter or croassant. It was not any eggs, any ham, any vegetables. The place of hotel is confusing when you are going from Victoria Coach Station.
Continental breakfast really good.
Location and breakfast were ok.
Overpriced room for what it offers. Sleep and forget type of place.
The Victor was in an ideal location for us. Close to victoria bus station and Pimlico underground. The hotel is small has clean public areas and comfortable but small ensuite bedrooms rooms. Continental b/fast was basic, juice, cereals, toast tea coffee etc.
Only down side no lift. We were in a group 2 cpls late 50' early 60's we were given 2 x rooms top floor (87 steps)
Hotel very well situated with major transportation, restaurents and convenience stores nearby. Facilities are modest but clean and good for people looking for a decent place to sleep at a fair price.
Washrooms are relatively old, the hairdryer is fixed and far from the washroom. Little space for clothes on a long stay.
Very difficult WiFi connection. WiFi was very slow and worked only for one device.
Good position near Victoria station. Breakfast with jam, honey, philadelphia cheese, muesli, toasted bread or warm croissants, apples and bananas. They keep the luggage free of charge after check out
The shower is fixed. The room on the street is a little noisy but, fortunately, the street is not crowdy.
Clean quiet hotel close to Victoria Good value for the money
Room in basement
The front desk staff was so helpful and accomodating. They were knowledgeable about giving directions to the main sites in central London. Also they were helpful in pointing out good places to dine. They were helpful with me planning day trips. I would strongly recommend this hotel for tourists.
More selection with breakfast items to choose from.
Connection was intermittent at best, but could NOT be used for any emails even.
Location was good. Not far from Victoria station and an even shorter distance to the underground. Breakfast was nice and staff were very friendly.
The room was extremely warm however, they do provide a fan. The shower head was a bit rusty and scummy looking.
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok. (Continental) Altogether good value.
Our room was sub street level and was rather warm.
location - close to Waterloo
Room smelt of smoke, reported this to the staff who ignored my dissatisfaction. They do not offer a continental breakfast - no yoghurt, no meats, no cheeses
Pleasant staff willing to assist at check-in and check-out; Proximity to desired venue;
Narrow stairway which makes it hard to drag a suitcase; No variety in the meal served for breakfast-same menu each day; No internet access in the rooms while it is stated on the website that internet was available in all areas.
Excellent, professional and friendly staff. Nice breakfast, Cleanliness, Location near the tube and Victoria station.
On the first night we've received a room on the last floor. Besides the fact it was hard to get there without an elevator, the room was too small for a twin bed room and there was no wifi signal at all. The room furniture and equipment were quite worn. After the first night, we've changed to another room which was bigger, nicer and newer, and had a good wifi signal.
Size of my room was surprisingly sufficient. Windows opened wide for a fresh air stream from the street. All amentities were in good order , electric kettle was clean and very useful in the evening. Cleaningness of the room was an extra plus.
Breakfast was moderate but the same as promised by the booking.com.
Staff is gentle, rooms are clean
Rooms are too small, not so comfortable. My room was in the basement and hot. I think the price is too expensive compared to the quality of the room and to the service.
