The staff were friendly and efficient, the rooms were well-appointed and there was a good choice and standard of foodstuffs at breakfast.

The hotel information booklet indicated that Sky Sports would be available on the television selection, which was not actually the case.

the staff were very helpful also the bar maid in the lounge bar was one of the best i have ever been served witrh her attitude and experience wer 5star

bed was to hard not enough coffee and milk tv could not get the sky channels the breakfast no potato scone or tomato the toast we did not get asked for if we want white or brown no face cloth in bathroom

no bath in the room and no other room with bath available. sloping side wall made it difficult to use the curtains to darken the room at night as they hung loose away from the window The route to the room was somewhat involved almost like a maize

It was not too large a hotel and the staff were wonderful and freindly, the food in the restaurant was excellent and real good value and breakfasts were great.

The ONLY issue was the lateness of the heating coming on in the bedroom it did not come on until 6.00pm each evening and we generally returned back to our room around 5.00pm. We visted in November 2012 and the weather was wet, windy and cold. The hotel should respond more effectively to the weather conditions to ensure the comfort of their guests.

A clean, cosy and comfortable hotel with helpful staff. The menus were good and the food was nicely prepared. Good value for money.

A couple of light bulbs in our bedroom needed replacing and I had difficulty in adjusting the heat of the shower (Room 2)

Very good value for money - very clean and comfortable- staff friendly and welcoming- food excellent. Near to railway station with good train service to Edinburgh. Good off-road parking at hotel

It was next to the sports venue we were playing at was very good hotel with excellent staff

Heating came on in the night, was suffocating.

staff were very accommodating, we called in advance to tell them we'd be late for check in and they were fine, and were on call for when we arrived. staff v friendly. room well stocked with tea and coffee making facilities, and bottled water. loads of parking.

beds were pretty hard, and floor boards v creaky in both rooms we had.

everything was right on the button, we cannot recall anything which might have been improved

Everything about the hotel was tip top no complaints what so ever.

The staff were fantastic, they couldn't do enough and the breakfast was excellent.
