Didn't even get to check in.
Despite having mentioned my arrival time specifically in e-mail, I couldn't check in- or reach the reception/proprietors.
I enjoyed my staying there, definitely go back.good money value, best vegetarian breakfast!cool staff, I enjoyed everything! Thank you and happy holidays!
Very friendly staff. The receptionist was ready to help me with travelling in and around Salisbury.
There isn't much to dislike about this place.
Travelling with a small baby we appreciated the travel cot provided with bedding and blankets - we were made to feel very welcome.
Shower was a bit temperamental.
Close to town excellent breakfast
The warm welcome; the friendly staff in all areas who just felt like my family ! Ideal location. The comfy, home-like decor; the comfy bed; loads of hot water; excellent breakfasts - I could go on and on. Thank you to all at Victoria Lodge - I do hope I have a chance to stay again in the future.
There's nothing negative I can find to write.....
It was walking distance from the city centre.
Uncomfy bed, no comfy chair in room.
Nice bedroom comfy bed.
Toilet didn't flush properly, the water pressure of the shower very low.
Good location, 10 minute walk to town. Friendly and helpfull. Decoration old fashioned and rooms a bit noisy. Bathroom a bit cold and shower could be better. All in all good value and what we expected.
Bathroom cold and shower repaired.
Everything Good surroundings clean room
Shower door leaving the shower room had no handle so broke my finger nail
The people in the lodge were extremely friendly and helpful! We stayed one night and on our checkout day we left the whole day our stuff there and not only they didn't have a problem, but when we arrived in a hurry to get them and leave we were in danger to miss our train. As the next train was in an hour they told us not to worry and to sit with them they 'd open a bottle of wine for us! We will definitely go back when in town! Oh and the breakfast was great!
The only thing could be closer to town. And the bathroom was really small. But still I'd say it was good value.
Quiet Room Good Facilities Good Breakfast
The guest house was vey quiet, just what I wanted. The water was hot The room temperature was good. Good car parking off road. Sad it was breakfast only. But the breakfast was very good. Just a short walk to the city centre. Helpful advice, where to go and what to see.
Cant say there was anything that I did not like.
cleanliness, friendliness, good sized rooms
I had a bit late check out, but the staff named Carol was pretty nice to me and made me breakfast, sweet!!! She really made my day! And the wifi is fast, better than many hotels.
The location maybe a bit far from town for some people. Around 20 mins walk. And I will suggest other travelers take the taxi to the station, it just costs 6-7 pounds, especially with luggage.
Location good to centre Staff helpful
Little pricey for location
Efficient shower Solid wifi connection Really friendly staff Parking Great cooked breakfast
Sound travelled a bit as I was on the ground floor Lacking an extra plug socket Bedroom light could be improved
Staff very helpful and friendly Cleanliness Breakfast
Single room a little small Noise from the road although this was Ok with the window closed
Friendly and comfortable and hostess very willing to make stay comfortable and was helpful
For the money we were expecting a shower with more than a dribble coming out, a hairdryer and at least a kettle that you didn't have to hold cord in to make work! I had to do a skydive early next day and explained I had to be up and away but when arrived early for breakfast as arranged the house was locked up and no one to be seen for 20 mins, a call had to be made to get someone to come therefore I was late, even more stressed and the suggestion to come back after dive was though kind, unrealistic. Not impressed.
close to main town car parking nice breakfast helpfull staff
Friendly staff. Decent breakfast
Our room had a tiny bathroom. A broken shelf had not been replaced so there was nowhere at all to put stuff
welcoming staff, comfortable room, good food
The Victoria was about perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast was delicious. Due to my flowing itinerary I slept in three separate rooms on three nights, all of them were comfortable and unique. The wifi was a bit weak but I can understand that in an older stoutly built structure. I walked both to Salisbury center and to old saurum from the Victoria quite easily. I would and may go back.
Having to leave.
