Friendly greeting, helpful owner Marilyn. Clean room, good food.
Only a small car park, but managed to squeeze car in
Great location, friendly staff, clean room, great breakfast. Everything we were looking for. We definitely recommend it.
I liked the comfortable accommodation. The bed was excellent and I slept well. I enjoyed my full English breakfast and the friendly atmosphere of the dining room. The location for access to the town is perfect for me.
Everything - especially a space on landing with fridge for bottled water and fresh milk.
Superb decor. Spotless.
Kenilworth is a lovely town with many excellent dining options within walking distance. The hotel was excellent and the staff were great and ever willing to make our visit as enjoyable as possible. Great breakfasts. A great place to use as a base for visiting the many tourist options in the surrounding area.
Nil. All good.
I received a very warm welcome and the facilities were very thoughtful and the staff attentive. I particularly liked a small teapot in the room and a fridge on the landing with fresh milk to make tea in the room.
I would have preferred a bath to a shower and the room was very hot at night requiring the window to be wide open.
Everything was excelent.Couldn't have ask for better.
Owner very welcoming and friendly. Convenient for restaurants. Good on site parking. Good quality bedding. Excellent breakfast with homemade bread and marmalade.
Breakfast a bit slow, but not a problem as we weren't in a rush.
Very friendly service. Nothing too much trouble. Very clean and well presented. All in all excellent value for money. Fresh milk and bottled water freely available.
Nothing to not like!
Everything and particularly how helpful they were about my dinner arrangements - nothing was too much trouble.
Easy to find parking good loads of eating close by and cosy feel about the house most welcome place to stay
Good location for sightseeing and eating out. Lovely rooms with comfortable beds. Lots of choice for breakfast. The lady who runs the place was very flexible and made sure our needs were met.
Clean room with ensuite, comfortable bed. Friendly welcome and attention from owner Marilyn. Fridge, bottled water provided for the use of guests. Easy walk to local shops, pubs and restaurants
Our room was really comfy and beautifully furnished. Appreciate the fact that Marilyn contacted us before our arrival and we were able to arrange an early check in which really suited us. Friendly staff, gave us useful local information.
Everything. Convenient for travel, quiet location even if it is on a main road. Friendly staff. Easy walking distance of places to eat.
There was nothing to dislike.
Overall stay excellent and easy access for older people with bedrooms near facilities. Staff friendly and accommodating.
The double bed was plenty large enough for two portly people but found the bed to be a little too soft and by morning did feel very hot.
Cleanliness and decor of bedroom and en suite. Excellent Full English breakfast. On-site parking. Helpful staff. Garden terrace for our birthday cake and champagne.
Room 10: toilet seat would not stay up (for men!). Entrance foyer needs upgrading to standard of other areas (we understand this is to happen.)
The room was clean and comfortable and the Victoria Lodge is in a good situation to eat out. There was more than 10 places to go to eat within a 15 minute walk. We chose to eat just two doors away in the Green Man where the food was very good. A nice added touch was a fridge just outside of our room where water and fresh milk was kept for use of guests.
Very comfortable room with great bathroom.
Very friendly and helpful hostess. Excellent welcome, comfortable bed and room. Delicious breakfast. Lots of good places to eat dinner nearby. Very convenient for The Warwickshire Golf and Country Club.
Room (at top of house) was very hot in the heatwave, even with windows wide open. Would have benefited from a fan to move the air a bit. Sloping ceiling over bath made showering difficult.
Comfortable bed Spacious room Outstanding hospitality Fabulous breakfast
Breakfast was great, lovely clean rooms and great wi-fi. Our hosts were really helpful and friendly and the B&B is really conveniently located for an easy stroll into the village. We were staying so we could visit Warwick Castle and it was a very short, easy drive to get back and forth. I would definitely recommend this B&B.
There was no air-con and the rooms were very, very warm. Our room had a ceiling fan but it was very weak and barely produced any breeze. My brother and nephew were in the other room and they had no fan at all plus the hot water tank for the whole house was in their bathroom so they were absolutely sweltering during the night! Probably nicer for a winter stay than summer but overall still a lovely B&B.
Marilyn, the new owner, was very friendly and went out of her way to accommodate our needs. The breakfast was excellent and rooms were generously sized. Would stay there again if in the area.
