Still has some wonderful achitectural features an in its day it would of been very grand, however the bedrooms and especially bathrooms are in need of an overhaul. We used the pool and sauna which were nice, but the mould growing on the steam room wooden ceiling put us off so we didn't go in. Breakfast was super as were all the staff. |

Location to town centre and beach. Friendly staff. Good food quality. Grand entrance. Worn furniture and decor. Small and poor quality bedroom construction. Lack of games room, decent gym and facilities. Inadequate breakfast. Poor cocktail bar. Spa closed Sunday. Not good value really. |

The breakfast was nice. And the complimentry tea and coffee in the rooms. I really did not think that it was worth the £270 that we paid for two nights. The rooms were of a bed and breakfast standard which we were trying to avoid hence paying such a large amount. There were no activities for our little girl nor us. The pool table was covered the whole time we were there. It was nothing that anybody did that made this visit dissapointing, its just that the pictures we saw and the way the hotel was portrade on the booking website looked completley different and was not what we were expecting when we walked through the door. |

It was in the town centre The manager repeatedly blocked visitors cars in, including our car. On the evening that our car was blocked in I informed reception that we had to leave for an appointment at 9am in the morning and I was told that it was the manager's car and she could not be contacted but would probably be back by nine in the morning. The following morning the car was still there and an 9.10am I asked again at reception and waited until 9.25 am when I asked again and a porter took the keys from behind the reception desk and moved the car. I was subsequently late for my appointment. The breakfast was also of a very poor standard, on the last morning my toast had mould on it. The hotel is convenient to the town but that is all it has going for itself!! |

The views and location are wonderful and relaxing. The bed needed replacing, it was very soft. The room could do with a facelift. Small bathroom. The people next door where loud over the long weekend and the party town atmosphere is not for all. We wanted some peace and quiet. It was a beautiful place though. |

A grand hotel which still maintains its standards and yet has a relaxed holiday atmosphere. Excellent. I found it by chance but will be staying again. |

The hotel was in a prime location for all amenities, beach and shops. Decor was beautiful - high ceilings with chandeliers, and lots of comfortable seating in lounge/bar area. All staff were of such a high calibre - professional and friendly [nothing was too much trouble]. The family room with a seaview was spacious, spotlessly clean and bed very comfortable. A good range of breakfast - something for every taste. No, we really enjoyed our stay, we couldn't fault this hotel in any way, we will visit again and recommend it to our friends and family. |

Wonderful hotel, a lovely room which was very spacious and clean. Great location and love the feel and history of the place. I would definitely stay here again. Advertised as having free wifi internet connection (which we really needed at one point!) but the wifi connection was not working the whole time we were there (3 days). We asked about it a few times but couldn't get anyone that really knew anything about it. |

Plastic sheets on the bed, the mexican restaurant next door filling their bins between 12am - 3am, people shouting in the street at 2am, reception staff not booking taxis when asked to do so, having to queue for breakfast, the room smelling of mexican food, the bedroom being far to hot. |

Grand entrance, location and breakfast Room was poor and small with a view onto the main street. Adjoining nightclub noise kept us awake until 4am |

Nice place. Great location for town and beach. Would have liked a no-breakfast option as I didn't manage to get up in time for it. |

The Victorian ambience of the public rooms that have been restored to their former glory and look and feel great As per most UK seaside hotels not enough money has been spent on the upkeep of the rooms |

We were upgraded to a superior sea view room which was very large and well appointed - quite a pleasant surprise. Very good evening meals and friendly staff. Noisy disco below our room played until midnight and prevented sleep. This was on a Wednesday evening. |

location/views - friendly and helpful staff - comfortable bed - clean bathroom & bidet! Parking was difficult - some areas could be better utilised (enormous terrace) or simply cleaned up. Breakfast room hot and dark. Steps in the bar area too deep for anyone with walking difficulty (me). |

With superb sea views, comfortable en suite rooms and a stylish modern bar, the Carnmarth Hotel looks out to sea over Fistral Beach, one of the most famous beaches in the UK. |
One of the few Padstow hotels with free parking, the 4-star Metropole mixes Victorian and modern styles. There is an AA Rosette restaurant and superb views of the town and Camel Estuary. |
Glendorgal Resort is refreshingly different. It is set in 17 acres of private headland overlooking the Atlantic and providing magnificent views of the beautiful North Cornwall coastline. |
A warm welcome and personal attention awaits you at Chynoweth Lodge. The bright and colourful modern en suite bedrooms offer many facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. |
