Hotel Victoria    

The hotel had character and a great location in newquey for what we wanted, Breakfast was amazing. The staff where excellent. Would stay at the hotel again as for the price paid was very competitive.

Sea views, comfortable bed and clean room, the very grand staircase, fresh fruit salad at breakfast, upgrade from family room to suite on a previous occasion,

£10 car parking charge, the coffee at breakfast is not strong enough, the lift to the beach is still not working,

everything concerning the hotel victoria was absolutly suppurb

there was nothing to dislike

Sea view room only with very small window Pool aera very small.

The fact ALL the staff, reception. bar, breakfast staff,cleaners were all friendly and helpful.

Trip was for my wife's 50th birthday, we stayed in a suitewhoch was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and friendly and made it a special weekend for us.

Was all good

The room was delightfully luxurious. Plenty of room to move and relax. The common areas were comfortable with plenty of choices to sit, both inside and out. The views over the beach and ocean are lovely.

WIFI reception was limited and best in the lobby.

room with a view/ a large balcony that obstructed our view. Sausages on first morning hard as rock couldn't cut them with a knife No wi fi in rooms

Staff and hotel facilities were excellent

Lovely room overlooking the sea, very comfortable with plenty of light and storage. Excellent value breakfast, very pleasant and helpful staff. Some of the interior has been recently refurbished and is very smart. Good facilities throughout. Great location for siteseeing!

The hotel is pretty ugly from the outside and is a little tired in places and could probably do with a bit of a makover when carpets begin to wear etc. That said, it is only a three star and so I believe the standard was above expectations and was pleasantly surprised.

The hotel was over a 100 years old so the room we had was very big which is great, not like the new hotels. Breakfast was great also. Nice hotel we lioked it very much. Same Newquay is not as good as the Hotel (My Sons have moved there)

No internet in the rooms, I was on holiday but still have to work. My head office is in the US so have to work late and would like to do it in my room.

staff were great great food and pool and spa excellent. lovelly decor which suited age of building.sea view lovelly.

Although decor fitted age of building it looked tierd in places like warn carpet, damaged furniture in room.

good location , excellent first impression

room was ok but lots of things had been repaired to a poor standard , especially bathroom . Spa was only ok , pool had some damage (red warning tape had been there some time) , steam room was very poor

Breakfast service, this was rushed to table before I had competedy cereal, tall male member of staff seemed to be in a hurry to go some we're else,overwise service was excellenyt.

everything was excellent breakfast was 1st class did not have evening meals because we were out sightseeing all day

the back of the hotel could be tidied up a bit it looked very untidy Newquay seemed to be very untidy with lots of empty business etc

Most things were very good but on pointing out things that could have been better it was still good value for money

Never been charged for parking car before and did not thing much of matress lighting was not at its best in the hallway near bedroom and faulty in bedroom

Third floor very warm,so too was the room

A very friendly and personable place to stay. Good food, clean room. I had the only single room that looked out to sea. Lovely.

Only negative is that the wifi was down, though they are trying to sort it out.
