We found the Victoria Park Hotel ideal for access, car parking, relaxing and friendly staff. The family room was ideal for the 3 of us. |

Eventhough it is a small hotel, we felt cosy as home. rooms are so tidy. Round the corner of the same block, there is the bus stop for going to the city centre. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes. Cross the street from the hotel is the Victoria Park which we found it's a good place for the morning jog. |

Size of the room, full breakfast and the cleanliness of the room and hotel in general were very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The 'double' room was two single matresses pushed together. This was not as comfortable as it could have been. Staying for only one night was o.k but if you are staying for more check this out first. Also, we had to get taxi's or two buses into and back from the city centre. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival, serving meals and in the bar. The rooms were modern and well decorated. Everything worked. Breakfast was delicious. Parking was off road and safe. Easy bus ride to the centre. The towels should be tumble dried - I don't like crunchy towels! |

Not much Noisy, impossible to sleep, windows that did not close properly and not even curtains to limit the noise |

Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. The food was good and it wasn't too far from most of the tourist spots Although the bath was good, shower facilities would have been an added feature. The towels left a lot to be desired, maybe some confort in the wash would have helped!! Some double glazing to keep the traffic noise out would have been an advantage also. |

Very friendly staff, good service, well refurbished rooms, free parking and close-by bus service to central Edinburgh I thought the room was quite small for the money but we were there during the Fringe Festival when no doubt rates go up. |

Breakfast was tasty and they had a veggie option - even veggie haggis which was good. The hotel was near the botanical garden. Quite far from downtown. The room could use more than a surface cleaning. |

Very disappointed. Price of hotel was extortinate, £180 for small basic room. Hotel smelt, probably resulting from adjoining pub. Party on saturday night within hotel playing loud music past midnight. Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in £/value. |

Good access to Leith area. Didn't mind the long walk to Edinburgh CBD. Very good restaurant on site. Staff very obliging and helpful. Shelf and hanging space in bathroom could be improved. Some plumbing problems too. |

Friendly staff modern and clean The room we stayed in was very small and you tripped over one another - more suitable for a single occupancy than double. |

Bedroom was luxurious and brekky was great The road noise was insane.... Worth looking at investing in some double glazing in the frames! |
