Great views, friendly staff and private parking
Everything nit got a negative word to say spot on
Bacon under cooked but that's me been fussy
Hotel had great views, was well decorated. & room was very good. Evening meal was tasty. Staff were friendly & helpful.
Breakfast wasn't as good as I would have expected.
Friendly staff, good breakfast, lovely room, good facilities in room,
Pillows! Limited bar menu, dogs possible toilet visit in bar??
Loved the location. We were upgraded from a budget room on the 2nd floor to a standard room on the 1st floor foc, room was spot on. Didn't try the restaurant, but the newly re-furbished bar was very relaxing. Staff & breakfast were excellent.
Only issue was couldn't connect my tablet to the WiFi to check on the weather, but reception were more than happy to check the weather forecast.
Staff are very attentive and pleasant. Room was spacious, high quality furnishings and amazing bathroom (room 3) with great sea view. Restaurant is nicely presented with a good albeit limited evening menu. The newly refurbished bar area retains its charm. Breakfast is worth crawling out of bed for!
Only 1 bath sheet (although there were 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels) ..... possibly an oversight by House keeping? May sound trivial but was a shame considering how good the bathing facilities were!
A birthday treat and a well needed few days away, we could not have chosen a better place to stay in the Bay. Ideal location with sea views, the staff were all so friendly and welcoming and we could not fault the cleanliness of the place. Super breakfast to set us up for our days of walking and we ate in the hotel's restaurant on our second night and thoroughly recommend it. A fantastic stay, I would certainly recommend the Victoria Hotel as a place to stay.
Everything. Staff superb. Food and drink brilliant. And a free upgrade!!!!
Helpfulness of staff, customer service and the food was second to none.
Double bed could do to be king size in excellent size room.
Andrews welcome to the friendliness of every single member of staff made our short stay at the Victoria a pleasure. The hotel has character and the food is first class.
Not a single thing.
We spent two nights at the Victoria Hotel as part of my wife's birthday celebrations. Upon arrival we were greeted by very friendly member of staff who ran though the basics with us and showed us to our room on the first floor. I had booked a superior double room, the views through the windows were over the gardens, the bay and the lower part of the village. As a bonus there was a south facing outside balcony which I imagine would be great place to sit in the warmer evenings. The room was spacious and well presented and the decor unmarked. The en-suite looked like it had recently been refitted with a Victorian pattern suite which was in keeping with the age of the building. It was spotlessly clean with complementary toiletries provided, even a pair of dressing gowns. The towels were unmarked and changed daily. The breakfasts were spot on, good in quality and quantity. The lady that served us both days was attentive without being intrusive, nothing was too much trouble to her. The bar had only just been reopened after a complete refurbishment. The workmanship was good as was the quality of the materials, although I overheard a few amusing conversations from the domino 'old timers' during their inspection and thought it was best left the way it was, they obviously don't like change! The young lady serving on the bar was very friendly and good conversationalist. It was clear to see that all the staff we came into contact with enjoyed their job and made it their business to make sure the customer experience was the best they could offer. We have been to Robin Hoods Bay many times but only as a day visitor. We were more than satisfied with our choice of hotel and would not hesitate in booking again or recommending to friends and family.
Location, sea view. Nice staff. Nice food.
Having stayed there many times it is obviously a place we know and love
I was very dissappointed that the quaint bar was shut for refurbishment, My fondest memories are of sitting in that bar with friends that we have taken to stay at the Victoria.
Location , staff friendliness and helpfulness, room good size. Views good ,
Bed- needs thicker topper could feel springs !
Very friendly and helpful staff
Major building works ongoing to dining/bar area. Disappointed with the ad hoc arrangements. Feel I should have been told in advance.
Room with a sea view is a must Dine in the restaurant
Cheap biscuits on the tea tray
Everything at the hotel excellent
Wifi could be connected better, but not overly bothered by it
The staff are lovely and friendly, felt so welcome!! Rooms are outstanding and are of a excellent quality!! Loved our short break to get my family away from it all!! Will go back in the future. Thank you
Only one problem was our shower was really low pressure!!!
everything was great, the location, staff facilities, everything was super no complaints what so ever. highly recommend to family and friends
Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Lovely breakfast and good prices in the bar with a great selection of bar meals and good ales.
Could not think of anything I was not happy with.
The location and views, the staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Food was very good, large breakfasts. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Handy for the moors and the seaside.
This is a gripe about the majority of hotels, and we have stayed in a lot this summer, the pillows are never very good, I have a bad neck and frequently take my own, but sometimes risk it and usually regret it. Please use nice feather pillows. Foam are rubbish.
Superb staff Delicious food Great bar area with real ales in top condition Free parking Spotlessly clean room.
Can't fault the place.
