The staff, room, bed, location and value for money.

Breakfast was terrible too small a breakfast room needs to be bigger to cope with demand at breakfast time
Location was central to the attractions to London

No shelf in bathroom. Hanger swivelled. Door to shower came off tracking. Chair back broken. Otherwise fine.
Staff very friendly and helpful

I would have liked more choice of food at breakfast. A cooked breakfast was available at extra cost but there wasn't much choice.
The staff at the Victoria Inn Hotel provided first class customer service. From opening the breakfast room early on Sunday morning to providing extra pillows, giving directions, recommendations and providing a phone charger cable, nothing was too much trouble. The location is only a short walk to the underground and there are shops and restaurants nearby. I stayed on my own for two nights and a friend stayed for one night (middle night) and the hotel was able to put me in a twin room for my whole stay which was perfect as we were running the London marathon and didn't have to vacate the room prior the heading off for the start at 7:30am.

Staff very helpfull,I enjoyed my trip to london

Our room was NeXT to the kitchen and it was very noisy in the mornings
Location is really nice, close to the centre and a metro station

Bed uncomfortable, pubic hair in bathroom from previous guests. Breakfast was horrible, tiny pokey room where you couldn't leave your table unless other guests got up from their tables to let you out, no windows etc. Fruit choice was tinned mandarins poured into a bowl.Soundproofing awful, could clearly hear neighbouring guests conversations, intimate moments, doors slamming, toilet flushing etc. Had to go down to ask for a towel (couldn't get through by phone) and was asked to come back down later. A lot of street noise even on Sunday morning, but of course the street noise is not the hotel's fault at all.
Location. We literally just used hotel to shower and sleep and spent all our time outside, it's not the place one would want to relax in.

Room is looking a bit tired and dated. Free Breakfast from Booking.com is a continental and there was very little to choose from - just some processed meat, boiled egg and various breads and croissants. If like me you don't like too much bread the choice is limiting. Cooked breakfasts are available but cost extra and have to be ordered the night before
Quiet location with a few interesting places to eat nearby.

Staff weren't very helpful at times - mostly good - a few could even speak English
Fabulous value for money and right in the centre of most tourist routes

Sadly the breakfast could be better. I'm not bothered about the lack of a cooked breakfast, but the choice could be improved.
This budget hotel is a great base for getting around and about London. Although the hotel offers basic accommodation, the rooms are ensuite and very clean.

Great location for palace and nice 25-30 minute walk to the centre of London

Ideal overnight stay on way to hospital appointment. Room small but clean, tidy and comfortable. Good choice for breakfast. This was a return visit and if we need to return for another appointment we will use the Victoria Inn again.

The Internet was not working in the room but only in the breakfast lounge. No fridge in the room.
I liked the friendly customer service, superb breakfast and location of hotel.

TV that shuts off every 30 minutes to save electricity I presume even after trying other TV remotes it still had the same problem. Front desk agent says someone must have set up a timer on tv to do that but nobody could figure it out and every night for 5 nights our tv would shut off after 30 minutes and we had to turn it on all the time after it went off. Not sure if any other rooms had this tv problem so it could be an isolated event. Springs in bed that would go "pop" or "boing" whenever you moved. Maybe room 47 needs new beds. This might be an isolated event as well because I saw the staff redoing the room next door so maybe ours was next to get new beds.
Oksana the breakfast lady was so nice, hard working and always kept everything for breakfast fully stocked and the breakfast room clean. The breakfast was very good with a huge variety to start your day off right. The hotel location was great and you could walk to just about all the tourist places in Westminster including a 10 minute walk to Victoria Station where all London transportation goes in/out from or a 10 minute walk in opposite direction to Pimlimco tube station. We walked 15 minutes to Buckingham Palace, Big Ben,Westminster Abby and the London Eye (all approx. 30 minute walk). Nooni the front desk agent was always so nice and friendly too and always smiling and helpful. The night front desk staff was just as nice. Our room #47 was always spotless so the cleaning staff did a great job as well. Considering London is so expensive you still got a nice, clean place to stay with free WIFI and a free breakfast. If you are used to cruise ships rooms that are small then you will have no problem dealing with the smaller rooms that you usually find in London. It's just how things are in London so you need to get used to it because they are all just about the same.

Super little tiny Lilliput rooms, very very basic breakfast
Location is awesome, near Victoria Station
25 March 2015
Not worth what I payed. Small bathroom, and tiny shower (almost impossible to get into it - a person who is a little fat would never get into it). Breakfast was very simple. I stayed for 5 nights, but only ate two nights (own choise). They only offered toasts. Second time I ate there was no cheese. I asked the staff it they had cheese, and got as a grumpy response: "No cheese yesterday, no cheese today". What kind of a hotel are not able to get some cheese from one day to another? What is the point eating toast without cheese?
Quiet neighbourhood. Helpfull staff. Free WI-Fi.

room very small, mattress too soft.
This was the second time we stayed here. Great location.
23 March 2015
Clean and secure hotel, very good location.
23 March 2015
This is a good location and handy walking distance to either Pimlico underground or Victoria station being only 5-10 minute walk from them, this gives great access to a lot of places.
17 March 2015
The noise from outside was terrible. During the night you could here even people toalking outside, not to mention cars. The noise was really loud. Secondly the floor was nosy as well. You could here very loudly all your neightbors walking outside your room. Even walking in your own room was terrible for the second person in the room. All other issues I. The hotel are minor. If it weren't this noisy I would have recommended the hotel. Other stuff: There window did not close tightly so there was a breez coming from the window. The room was very very small. This is expected for central London at this price range. The breakfast was very poor. There was little choice other than toast bread and boiled egg.
Excelent location. Staff was welcoming. There was a bathroom in each room, which is rear in central London.

Noise from street through the window/balcony and from the staircase through the door.
