very good location especially if you arrive from Getwick airport. If the price there is no more than 80 GBP/night/double room, this hotel is good enough the breakfest could be better, they should add at least some cheese or yogurt. |

The fact that bus ran past door; many reasonable eating places nearby; breakfast included. Room too small, lift too small, breakfast room too small. |

It's a cheap hotel by Central London standards and you have to manage expectations accordingly. All I wanted was a comfortable bed for the night and that's what I got. The staff were indeed very friendly and helpful and probably provided a standard of customer care that is often lacking in more expensive establishments. The room I was given was large (for one person), the bathroom was small but functional (had a hot shower in the morning) and too be honest kind of what I expected. |

The location is very good, espetially if you plan to take a bus from the airport (all the buses go to Victoria Station which is very close to the hotel). The staff was nice and helpful. Our room was clean and quite nice. It wasn't expensive, but I think a bit too expensive, considering the quality (but I guess London is expensive). It's a good choice if you go to London to visit a lot of places, and look for a hotel to sleep in only. The room definitely didn't look like the one shown on the hotel website. Generally I was a bit disappointed because the hotel description on the hotel website is a bit diferent than reality. The building is quite old. The elevator is VERY old ... a bit scary. What I didn't like was the place they serve breakfast. It was extremely small, there wasn't enough place for all the people, no matter what time do you come. So we had to wait for a free table. Plus it was really uncomfortable eating in such a crowded place, making queue to a toaster. There is no place you can leave your luggage, if you like you can tide it up to the radiator !Oh, and the beathroom was very small, I'm 1m77 and i could touch the roof with my head. |

The reception staff were polite The bathrooms are not proper bathrooms, they are like small plastic pods which feel like being in a very old caravan bathroom. There was alot of rust in the bathroom and the room was clean but worn and dated and very small (too small to be classed as a double). The breakfast room was very small and we couldn't get a seat when we went down. The breakfast room staff were not very polite when we went back later towards the end of the sitting. The lift is very old and small and did not feel safe. |

The closeness to London's tourist attractions and the value for money were the most likeable aspects of our stay The lift jolted when it stopped. |

I liked the location and the price! The size of the WC was quite remarkable! The "high speed" internet was very slow....and there were bed bugs and lots of them! We couldn't see them, but I got tons of bites! Not cool. |

Room equivalent the size of the toilet of some other hotels. Shower is the size of a fridge and so you can't lift up your hand to shampoo yourself. Hand/body shampoos smelled like long expired food and had caused rashes on hands. Two seperate taps on a pot size basin. Hot water too hot and cold water too cold. Washing in the morning is no simple task.Blood stains on bed. Room is rotting smelly. Please go elsewhere for a bigger room of less than half the rate. Poor breakfast in a small basement, toast with jam only that has no expire date. The small room is also filled with a strong smell that .... Please wait for tea spoons to be washed. |

The location was great and my husband said it was a large room for London. We got two pillows each, which was quite nice, but the pillows were hard as a rock. There was no air-con, so we had to keep the window open if we wanted some air and the street could get a bit noisy at night. Having a TV was a nice touch too, but we only got 7 channels and the reception was terrible. |

The location was quite ok when we should go by bus to the airport. It was extremely noisy. There was a sound (like from a machine somewhere in the building) every 10 seconds. Very hard to sleep and even when we were awake it was very irritating. The breakfast was very poor. We had to ask for cheese. No ham, no eggs, no vegetables, no fruit... Expensive to use internet. |

Friendly staff and the hotel is in a very good area, close to most attractions you would want to visit during a trip to London. Dining room was a little small for the size of hotel (although the food was very nice) and the television in our room was in a dangerous position causing problems getting passed it (ie. risk of injury to head when passing) |
