Score from 280 reviews Very good
Close to city, comfortable stay great food good value for money, would stay again
Could have been a little cleaner, but not too bad
Perfect independent budget hotel, cheap and cheerful, very large double at single rate this time, very happy
No fridge in room could be a disadvantage, en-suite could be a little small for some
Staff, breakfast and proximity to town centre.
Weren't aware there was no lift, and steepness of hills up to hotel. Either keep you fit or kill you, but if we had had mobility problems it would have been inaccessible.
For the cost I don't think you could get better. I stayed in a single ensuite and it was clean and comfy and the breakfast the next day was amazing. The location is excellent and walking distance to the city centre
Walls are thin so loud guests can wake you up
Warm & friendly greeting on arrival, good location, very helpful reception staff, excellent breakfast included in the price
Location, Value, Friendly Staff. Good Breakfast
The location was great close to restaurants and close to the main shopping area!
The hotel was overall average..our room was right next to the kitchen meaning that every morning I got woken at 7 from the noise..also the wifi was very low even though we were close to reception.
Price, very good breakfast
Clean spacious room child friendly
The hill :-)

This lodging is without lift therefore one needs to carry the luggages up and down the stairs, which are too much....
- good location - good breakfast - good beds and towels
- wifi was not working half the time we were there - no lift - had to return keys to counter every time we left the place to go out
The staff were really nice. The breakfast was great and the room was clean, spacious and comfortable.
The internet didn't work for over 1 day and a half at all and they said they were waiting for the person to fix it but it's not acceptable that they didn't fix it in the whole day and still not working the following day when I left.
Walking distance to city centre Good breakfast, good variety of food
Broken toilet bowl, worn mattresses. Good breakfast served by their worker who said it was a busy morning, therefore I wouldn't get more than two tomato halves.
communal areas had dirty wall paper and worn, shabby carpets.
Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Lovely big rooms, clean, comfy beds and nice bathroom. Fantastic choice of breakfast.
Staircase area could do with a bit of a spruce up.
Glasgow is a lively city with list to see and do
the hotel was a bit grim

Paper thin walls and room next to kitchen meant 7am breakfast preparation woke us up
Most of everything
Friendly staff and fantastic room
Girls would have liked two single beds rather than a double in the family room.
Parking, location, breakfast, helpful staff, clean bedding/towels. Spotless bathroom.
Communal areas are a bit tired, no bar/lounge
