Handy for the curries in Rusholme and buses into the city. The breakfast was meant to be open till 9.30am and yet they closed it before 9.00am, when we arrived at 9.00am they were very rude. It is expensive for a budget style hotel as the tv didn't even work. I would not stay there again!

The staff (especially Mr Ali, the Hotel Manager & Mr Omair) were very cooperative, helpful, and made my stay comfortable and homelike. The hotel is at great location, very near to the University & Royal Infirmary Hospital; many eating places, many general stores close to the hotel & the best thing is that it is an non-alcoholic hotel.

The first room we were introduced to had a leaking toilet and the shower was poor. We returned to reception to advise them and they immediately moved us to a much bigger and better room. They were more than happy to help.

Its a budget hotel no frills, good for one or two nights stay. 20mins form central Manchester. The shower wasn't working properly, smell of sewage, car park area looked dodgy as there was a gang of cats there.

The room we stayed in looked like it was newly refurbished. The hotel itself seemed to be going through a complete renovation. I could not fault the cleanliness. The room we stayed in one of the windows didn't shut in one corner so we ended up stuffing it with loo roll! Also we felt breakfast was a disappointment. Scrambled egg, very cold beans (that didn't even worm up in the microwave they had for guest use) and what looked like mashed potato! The only other thing was cereal and toast. Although there were plenty of staff at breakfast none of them spoke to us or offered us any sort of help.

Nothing at all, it was a disgrace. Booked it for our 33rd Wedding anniversary and it was a shambles. Very Disappointed. On arrival there was no heating on in the hotel at all (it was minus 2 outside!) other guests were complaining in reception. It took an hour and half and 3 times of asking to be provided with an aged dimplex oil filled radiator which probably took 45 minutes to actually get warm. During this time my wife and I were too cold to even take out coats off. When we got back to the hotel after our evening out we were left standing outside pushing the doorbell as the reception was unmanned for about 10 minutes. When we actually got to our so called "premium" room the windows were so drafty that the blinds were actually moving in the wind! and the room was still freezing! I have never, ever stayed in a "Premium" room with the sink taps unconnected to the sink, the bathroom door kicked in, a clock with no batteries in, dirty chairs, dirty carpets, drafty windows, no heating and a light switch conveniently placed behind the wardrobe. I am honestly disgusted with the situation now and can't believe my complaint hasn't been addressed properly by either booking.com or the hotel management.

Not a good place, very tatty and badly managed. The room was OK but the fire alarm went off at 01:00 on the first night and the solution was to switch it off! I left after the first night and found somewhere else! I wouldn't stay again and I wouldn't recommend it.

Great location and value for money. You get what you pay for - very basic facilities, but do the job if you are on a low budget.

Nothing - one of the worst places ever - felt like an alien when I got here. Room not cleaned properly - previous occupier's sock under the bed. The most unwelcoming place ever. Nice location though and lots of decent places to eat nearby. Se above

It is a nice building , a bit shabby, but its situation in a quiet cul de sac made it convenient. If it were well run and clean with a passable breakfast it would be good. the email I wrote to the hotel; Thank you for providing the extra blanket last night. And thank the receptionist for sorting out the wifi. I hope someone will find the time to sort out the plug in the wash hand basin in our room. As I think you know my wife slipped and fell on your doorstep last night. Since you provide no bath/ shower mat in our room we have had to use one towel as a bath mat . A bath mat stops people slipping and stops your floor becoming a puddle. It looks to me that you choose to "save money" by buying the cheapest possible towels, lavatory paper, cornflakes, bread. And no doubt everything else. If perhaps you had invested a little time in training your kitchen staff that would have been good. It is very strange to find pepper pots full of salt and vice versa, but the girl quickly corrected this Today we ate one fried egg each. That is breakfast? Do you really believe that could ever be a breakfast? Could we for instance have a choice of cereals, muesli , brown bread, marmalade. The tiny extra expense to you would make anyone's stay more comfortable for them. It would also be counted / expected as a standard and basic requirement. Perhaps at no expense to you you could provide transport information . It turns out that every single bus going up your road comes to the centre. You / your staff have never heard of Spinningfield where we have to work for 3 days. A few public transport leaflets would aid you and your staff and your guests.

Cheap and a good bus service to City Centre 2 minutes away and Taxi only £7 back. Nice large room and ensuite modern bathroom with big walk in shower. Staff were friendlyish. In middle of famous "Curry mile". It was a bit worn, grubby and need of some money being spent on it but not as bad as some reviewers have made out. The card key kept failing. 9Am finish for breakfast. Missed maid service twice. Late noise from street on Saturday night (back of hotel). Usual moan about inadequate curtains letting sunlight in mornings. No telly.

Everything about it was just really nice.I Cant forget Mr.Ali and his endless hospitalty,he was so great and he helped me alot. All other are good too.The place is very good, close to many halal shops ,and bus stations are just yards away. For muslim people, the Mosque is not far from there(Manchester Central Mosque),its just 2-4 mins walking distance.Prices was good and reasonable comparing to other places. In few words, you will not regret spending your time in Manchester in this hotel,as plus to the nice city, its a nice place too.

The distance from Old Trafford The state of repair was very poor. I booked 4 rooms some of which didn't have wardrobes, lights didn't work in the showers, the shower and sinks were blocked, no hot water in the morning, breakfast was very poor and to be fair the list could go on. The price on the internet looked very attractive, but having stayed there it wasn't value for money. I was embarrassed for my guests and kept apologising all night. We stayed out til late to limit the time in the hotel and ended up in Mcdonalds for breakfast after seeing what little the hotel had to offer. It wasn't a pleasant experience at all.
