Lovely clean rooms with no extra frills - i.e. no tv - good value for money for people intending to use the hotel as a base, The staff were all friendly and helpful. |

*the location was really good for me. *the room size was far. *the room which present in the website and the information were not cleared and not presents what are there in real, the bathroom was far away from the room, so I changed the room and I paid more for that. That was not clear in the website. |

It was within easy reach of the city centre and close to my daughter's halls of residence |

The staff were polite I was extremely disappointed by the hotel. Our room - 119 - was not of a standard expected for the money paid. The room was poorly equipped, substandard furniture etc and extremely unclean - especially the bathroom! The rooms on the opposite side of the hotel looked as if they had been renovated but where we were had not. |

The staff were very friendly and the room was surprisingly comfortable and clean, with a decent bathroom. The hotel looks very ropey from the outside, like a badly decaying Fawlty Towers, and the reception area will leave all but the bravest traveller worrying about what's in store, but the actual rooms are actually pretty decent - if fairly basic. All in all, not bad value at all, although there are no TVs in rooms. |

Their services were good as well as the Hotel, it was worth the money payed for it. The only thing I don't like about the Hotel was this smell of, I don't know its like, paint. But was not very bad. |

Close to the Curry Mile which is a weird/enjoyable experience This place is a real dump (and not just because they are renovating parts of it). The phone on the front desk rings on the hour and is louder than most hotel alarms. The breakfast is one egg and 2 pieces of toast. I have stayed in Student Halls that were cleaner... |

The room we staying in was a small apartment, with kitchen and sperate entrance hall and bathroom the room did not have TV or radio. A free to use WIFI network/internet connection would have been helpful also. |

The hotel is very well located for the famous Manchester curry mile and the rooms are recently refurbished and clean. Propsective customers should be aware that for religious reasons there is no drink on the premises and no tv. This was not a drawback for me. Breakfast is as usual but be aware cooked choices are limited. |

The staff were utterly charming and keen to please, and the place is full of character. Wifi was excellent. The building is very run-down, both outside and in. The smell of damp hits you as you enter, and in other places in the building. The bedroom was tiny; galley-like, with bedsheets and duvet that showed great signs of wear, and damp that they'd tried to paint over. The breakfast was economical: you either liked a fried egg and thick white toast, or you had nothing cooked. |

Peaceful, interior design was excellent in my room - great lighting options, big mirror, comfort had to be buzzed in by reception after coming back (3am night out) no sneaking in company I presume: as it's non-alcoholic which is fine i don't know if they are judgemental about drinkers cause i chose this hotel for its proximity to nightlife not for its own values, so unsure about what could happen under 'other' circumstances. |

Convenient location for access to city centre and university. The refurbished bedroom was attractive and comfortable even though facilities were basic. The remainder of the hotel would benefit greatly from refurbishment. Staff serving breakfast not able to cope with numbers - more help required! |

The rooms were clean, comfortable and well-furnished The breakfast was a problem- not enough tables so people were standing around waiting, and one poor elderly man (who didn't sound very well) trying to make toast, clear tables set up etc. Apart from this, it was good value. |

The only positive thing I can say is the rooms are large The rooms are like going back to the 60's. The shower was terrible only very hot or very cold and no in between. The rooms were very dab and not very clean at all. It is not that local to central Manchester - its a good 10mins in a cab. If your or a budjet then this could be the place but all in all its a bit of a dump. |

friendly and welcoming front desk half of the hotel was a building site. nowhere on the booking did it mention that this hotel was a muslim run hotel so there was no alcohol, no tv and no cooked breakfast in the morning. although the room was very nice, the shower door was broken. |
