I liked the fact they upgraded our room for free due to a mix up and staff were really helpful and nice. Bed was abit uncomfortable and en suite was a tad to tiny.

All the staff were exceptionally friendly and courteous. We had tried many times to book the Vidella after seeing the hotel on 'Four in a Bed' but without success. Fortunately, on this occasion, we managed to get a couple of days there and were not disappointed. The room was very clean, warm and comfortable. We had all we needed and, although on a busy road, we had a very good night's sleep and were not at all troubled with noise from passing traffic. The Hotel is very centrally located and within easy walking distance to all the sights and amenities. The bar literally lights up of a night time with pretty fairy lights and a multitude of candles and this creates a comfortable and welcoming ambience. The restaurant is quite lovely with its chandeliers and private seating arrangement and offers a wealth of great food and a well cooked and plentiful breakfast. We will certainly make the Vidella our first port of call when visiting Blackpool again. Nothing to dislike!

It was clean, and warm enough place and the breakfast was good. Bathroom was big enough for a small mouse. The decoration was basic. the outside was not inviting, compared to the photo's on Booking.com.

Staff were really friendly Rooms were the smallest I have ever seen. Bathroom was the size of a dog kennel. To use the sink and toilet the door has to remain open which is not fair when sharing with a friend.

Very good location for the promenade etc.v central. The vidella hotel was overpriced, not very clean,in dire need of an update.the breakfast was ok but v under cooked.we cancelled 1 of our group who couldn't come weeks ago,I received an email saying that was fine and other changes could be made up to 24 hours before going.we then had to pay for the missing person which I thought was very under hand.we paid nearly 1000 euro for 8 of us for 2 nights which doesn't sound 2 bad until u actually see the hotel.

Really friendly staff, good breakfast, comfortable room - fabulous variety of jugs of cocktails for only £11! Less than 10 mins walk into town and 5 to the promenade. Just a nice stroll, mainly flat so good for people with mobility issues.

Fantastic staff !!!! always there with a smile (and pranks) and advice when needed ...the food was fabulous and service was professional i would definitely recommend to anyone xx If anything the only thing i could suggest is a few air fresheners as you could smell pets but nothing major that a few windows open n a plug in wouldn't solve xx

The Vidella was located in a good area slightly north of the North Pier. They have a good sized bar and separate restaurant which are reasonably priced and staff were friendly and helpful. We were looking for a cheapish hotel which still had comfort and modern rooms. However the vidella was not what we expected. For £45, we were given a box room which only just fit a double bed and there was no room for two people to move around. In fact you could only get in bed from one side. The bathroom was just a shower and was dirty and very dated with mould growing on the shower curtain. So much so that my other half, who is definitely not a snob, refused to use the shower. The bathroom door would not fully open due to the size of the room and its furniture. The kettle filament was covered in mould and lime-scale which could be seen floating in the water when the kettle was filled and there was no filter. Would not use the hotel again.

Very creative and customer friendly place to stay and generally on the evenings when inbetween either going back out to eat or just chilling in the bar. Neil was the life and soul of the placve and to be fair, without him around it simply would not be a hotel of distinction. Rooms were cosy and have freeview tv which was brilliant for us as we have a 6yr old daughter and she never got bored when we were resting or showering etc. The resturant is by far the best i have ever experienced in Blackpool and i have been here over 50times in the last 25yrs. The chef must be recognised for this. I will go again but have to say on the last day we were there, we went for breakfast and went to sit on an empty table and was told by Greg " Oh you can't sit there " and was asked to share a table with other residents which did force us to wait for a table as we obviously were not comfortable with the idea. After a good 20mins wait and being a little put out by the wait despite the table still sitting empty, we decided to have breakfast elsewhere. Not to be put off by this as Greg had good intentions but could have at least explained to us to why the table lay empty throuout our wait. Other than that a highly recommended place to stay. As for the whole experience 8/10.

Every member of staff at the Vidella were welcoming, friendly and fun. We were treated like we were the only guesta there even though we weren'T. Nothing was to much trouble. It really made the holiday extra special. When we return to Blackpool this will be where I stay. I stayed with two friends and we all agreed that this hotel really made it for us. The breakfast was lovely in the morning and quick. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated and the location is perfect as you see more of Blackpool and it is also close to the train station. It is a nice leisurely walk to the tower and the the beach is only yards away. I can't recommend the Vidella hotel highly enough. 10/ 10

We had a great stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. As it was the off season unfortunately the restaurant`was not open for evening meals during the week, however the breakfast they provided was fantastic and offered a good choice. There was a great selection of cocktails and drinks available in the bar area, as well as the hotel being located close to the town. We will definately be booking with them again.
