Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the restaurant staff were really friendly and helpful Nice food. Would love to go back there next year.

location was very good. we were dropping our son off at cardiff ubi and that was only 5/10 mins away. rooms nicely decorated. good choice of restaurants. loved the pub atmosphere. breakfast had good choice.

bath very slippery when showering - needed a mat.

I thought the pool and leisure facilities were excellent and it was the deciding factor when booking the room. The breakfasts and staff were also excellent.

The double room was a bit dark in decor and had a strange smell. You could also hear the people in the rooms next door. The bathroom was not very clean on arrival, especially the toilet.

Location.

1. A fee of £2.50 for use of business credit cards. Other hotels E.G. Premier Inn / Hilton / Future Inn - don't do that; 2. Very very poor standard of pillows; 3. Indifferent attitude of staff - were not going out of their way to please or be pleasant; 4. They did not have confirmation from Booking.com of my reservation - check in was slow; 5. Hardly ant pressure in the shower;

I have stayed in much cleaner Premier inns and travel lodges The room had dust and cobwebs in the corners and poor attention to cleaning There was grime black mold on the tiles in the bathroom unacceptable by todays standards ! we will not book again I hosted a business party and was unable to set up a bar tab . I would have had to sign for every transaction ! The Hotel lost out

There was a very good atmosphere at the hotel. It was convenient for Cardiff without eing in the City Centre. The leisure facilities and treatments were excellent. The food was superb both in the hotel and the pub. A good venue for a lrge group.

The staff were lovely, the food was beautiful and the leisure facilities great.

The down side to the hotel I felt was that the room looked just like a premier lodge room (not that this is such a bad thing, but we were expecting more) and no room service available for breakfast and no complimentary toiletries left, oh and no dvd player, but other wise a good hotel.

Easy to get to and from city and country. Gym, breakfast.

Needs a refresh, we stayed in the Village Solihull hotel the night before, this was not as nice. Cleaners need to spray bleach around the bath tub, black mould around tubs in both rooms we looked at. That's a pet peeve of ours with an easy fix. We complained about the first room and were given an upgrade to a family room, much bigger, less mould. Needs a more visible sign at entrance. Our satnav took us right by it and we had to call the hotel for directions. When we checked in I overheard the same thing happening to someone else. It's on the right as soon as you come off the roundabout.
