Value for money

Value for money is fantastic, rooms are spotless, john on reception is always a joy to meet.. Stopped in 5 different rooms now and still nothing to complain about
Good location Cheap
Freezing cold room No toiletries Didn't see anyone after check in
Great place full of character. Staff are wonderful and it is in a prime location couldn't do enough for us
Very dated room classic seaside room! Very cold as only one old fire heater worked the other heater broken.
Staff told us all the best places to go and it was really cheap for the night. Nice Mexican food on site too!
Nothing it should not be on your site
A good basic hotel room in a location close to the beach and shops
It was a great place to stay. It was much better than I expected. Staff were really friendly and very helpful. Location was fantastic - close to town centre and the beach. Brilliant place to stay. I would definitely stay there again.
The single room had all the basic requirements for a short stay. Comfy bed, large bath, kettle , toaster, fridge, heater. Large mirror next to a plug. Tv.
Quite compact, but ok for the price.
The location of the hotel from the sea front
The fact that there is no fixed heating in any of the rooms and only the main room and bedroom had portable electric heaters. The fact that I was greeted by a member of your staff with " are you staying here?, what is your name?, that will be £5.00 for a parking permit, or £7.50 to park on the hotel car park of which we haven't any spaces so best to drive around and look for a spot".the fact that I was greeted by the same member of staff with his rather large belly hanging out of his trousers with only his belt holding up his pants as his button looked like is wasn't gonna hold. Would not choose to stay there again.
double room was actually a 1 bed flat the bath was deep plenty of hot water check in man was lovely, very friendly and helpful, asked if we had brought towels and then gave us some to use out of season so very good price manager came quickly and sorted out a double booked room issue
we signed in, went to flat, left bags in car went out to eat. When we came back somebody elses bags were in the flat! Good job we were honest, but it was a very unnerving few minutes thinking may have to sleep in car in cold weather. There were blinds at window, but they did not block out the emergency lights outside the window all night the door lock was very stiff, in fact I couldn't open it at all and hubby struggled the bed base was broken. The bottom 1/2 on one side was completely collapsed. There for 2 nights and knew bed was very bad after 1st night but it was only in the middle of the 2nd night I realised why when I saw a purple blanked that had been put in to try and level the bed out (ineffectively), this spoilt our short break and I was so tired from lack of sleep and it aggravated my joint and back problems overall not a good experience
cheap pet-friendly (only £10 extra for a dog) kitchen fully equipped clean big apartment
late check-in and early check-out (can pay extra for extended times) wifi only at reception and didn't reach the rooms
Its a lovely place to stay, nice people on reception nice big rooms
Beds are abit hard and could do with better duvets but not a bad nights sleep
John in reception couldn't be more helpful ...
Well the hotel.. back in time would describe it, we were on the top floor and nothing reached there ..internet or water, well it dripped out the water that is, but we thought we had a bargain at £25 lesson learnt, stick with Premier Inn etc you know what your getting. You can see why the previous owners went bankrupt..A poor hotel.
second room offered a bit more respectable.both alternatives.only there one night.
dated and tired ,needs revamp throughout.
No heaters was cold
Not much. The reception staff were pleasant and the parking permit worked.
The whole place looked grubby and worn, the room was supposedly "superior" - god help the inferior ones! No towels included (I didn't take any!) No toiletries of any kind in the bathroom. it was a very long walk into town from there with no facilities nearby.
everything about the hotel and its staff went out of thear way to please you thanks to all at the villa esplanade seaview hotel scarborough once moore thanks to all. from mr.mrs raymond Robinson
I like things to work and this B&B worked well for us a couple in our early 40's. Parking space for both our motorbikes was provided.apartment was more than satisfactory for the one night and I found the bed as comfy as my own. Staff were polite and informative aswel as helpful. This place is close to town and shops and we will definitely stop here again..... Anne & Derek
Condensation on the windows obscuring the lovely sea view
No shower. Electric card required. Very run down, in need of modernisation and refurb.
We booked for a hotel room and ended up in a holiday flat, which was not what we wanted. There were no towels provided and we were given £10 to go out and buy some towels !! The bar facility was poor and we were advised to go down the road to another hotels bar and food facilities. We would not recommend this hotel.
it was a very nice place to stay staff were great and helpful. The view was great to wake up to every morning the sea rolling in and the self catering apartments have cookers kettles a mini fridge etc and has its own restaurant and bar on site. A ten min walk to the town centre
Decent location cheap price but don't expect 5 star stay...near to town and sea front with plenty of shops and pubs to keep you entertained ..staff friendly enough too
Very hilly so not for anyone with walking difficulties our room number 18 was very dated but clean on arrival however the bed never got changed once in our four night stay..also had to ask for clean towels..when we got back to the room later on in the day clean towels were there but old ones left in the bathroom bin not emptied bedding changed etc ..if you are looking for a cheap place to stay and you don't mind roughing it for a few days this place is OK otherwise pay a bit extra for a bit of luxury.. For the price it was OK I suppose
Large apartment Clean Staff really friendly and helpful Dog friendly On-site parking Attached El Gringo's restaurant was excellent
All 4 beds in same room Furniture a bit dated No towels provided Electricity on a payment card - worrying how long it would last
Location was great...very close to town and beach. Great value and room well equipped.
Villa could benefit from a make-over especially reception and stairways. Also although location is great not too good for anyone who has walking difficulties as lots of steps and steep paths.
Great seafront view
Unaware of appartment as booked a double room, so not prepared - had no towels and had to pay for them.
