Friendly staff, beautiful building and decor, exceptionally clean, excellent breakfast, comfortable room. Fresh milk for tea and coffee available at all times, on ice in dining room...nice touch. With the deal it was very good value. Will definitely stay again.
Can't think of anything we didn't like except that we arrived late in bad weather and needed to eat. A nice area but a bit far from the centre to walk in at that point. However a taxi was booked for us and arrived very quickly.
Lovely room; friendly staff ; great location
The facilities were clean and comfortable
The atmosphere reminded me of a line in "Under Milk Wood" - "..and before you let the sun in make sure he wipes his feet". The owners are obsessive and have compiled a fussy set of "rules" about everything - hours of this and that, areas in which you can allow the hotel dog to enter - even down to which bin you must put your rubbish in. The result is a completely unrelaxing stay.
Staff and owners were fantastic. A beautiful and friendly environment. Location is perfect, a quite street yet 5 minutes from everything. We had the last room available and it was near the reception, disturbed a couple of times but the staff did everything in their power to make our stay perfect. Breakfast was one of the best we've had on our travels. Book!
Paying for car park n
Had an excellent stay for a couple of nights in January. Staff were very friendly and really helpful. Was able to park the car, although I can see the carpark can get full. Really great location for walking into the city centre. Lovely room.
The parking charge
Nice clean room. Nice staff.
Toilet can't flush smoothly but acceptable.
The comfort, food and the helpful and friendly staff.
The staff, the food, the hospitality, the location, the decor! Could not be more satisfied!!
Nothing, seriously.... Not one thing was bad.
My daughter and I loved the warm welcome we received...smiles, mince pies and hot chocolate. All the staff were delightful, helpful in the extreme. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Our room was splendid as was the location.
Warm, friendly welcome Helpful, courteous staff Great breakfast
Someone had nicked the washer out of the shower hose (why the hell do people do that?)
Was expensive, would stay at Hilton instead. People talking outside door
Great place. Stuff is very welcoming! Lovely breakfast! Feels like home
The friendly staff, on site parking, immaculate room. Stylish decor and the best bed and linen I've encountered for a long time!!
We knew breakfast would be extra before we booked as we didn't go directly through the hotel - but we didn't realise parking was extra until later on. Not a big deal though!
Beautiful building and rooms with excellent service from friendly and helpful staff.
Excellence service!! Highly recommended!
Very friendly staff Fresh and well cooked food We would definitely return to this hotel and recommend to others.
LOCATION 5 MINS WALK FROM BATH RUGBY GROUND, OUTSTANDING SERVICE, COFFEE /TEA ON ARRIVAL, OWN CAR PARK, BREAKFAST IN GENERAL, USE OF RESTAURANT AS READING ROOM AFTER BREAKFAST
THE BACON AND SAUSAGE WAS NOT TO MY TASTE AND A LITTLE TOUGH.
The level of services was fantastic the whole experience exceeded our expectations by a mile
Staff were incredible, professional and courteous. We were offered a cup of tea and mince pie as soon as we walked in. The bed and bed sheets were the comfiest I think I have ever slept in. Clean, comfy and perfect location!
In room number 2 right by the main door and reception. We were not advised that this room would be so noisy.
How close to the city walking distance
Cost of parking!!!
The staff were excellent and the welcome was very warm
Breakfast commenced half an hour too late as I had to catch an early train
No power in the shower. Hot water to shower v slow.
I can't rate the staff highly enough, met on arrival our cases were taken to our room and we we're sat down to almost afternoon tea whilst given a personalised chat through the local sights, restaurants and bars that May interest us. Food was superb with breakfast the highlight. This truly is a luxurious place to stay and worth every penny.
Nothing to say, they have everything up to a very high standard.
