The warm welcome on arrival. The superb level of cleanliness. The excellent breakfast with a huge range of choice. Attentive staff who think of everything.
There was nothing we weren't totally impressed with!
The beds were the comfiest I have ever slept in and the breakfast was excellent
The position of hotel and helpful staff
Being charged £12 a night parking no evening meal available no bar. The en suite was so small you couldn't dry yourself after a shower!
Being able to walk into the city centre within a few minutes. Lovely room, and comfortable bed.
Excellent accomodation with very helpfull, welcoming staff. Location is ideal.
Shower in bath, now know I can request room with walk in shower when next visit
provision of a gluten free diet
Rare parking spots in the centre of Bath, lovely decor and furnishings, an unexpected room upgrade without asking for it. Great location, helpful staff, enjoyable breakfast, nothing to fault.
This was a fantastic hotel. The rooms were a really good size with excellent views and facilities. The bed was the most comfortable I've ever had in any hotel ever. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
Villa Magdala did exactly what it said on the tin and did it excellently. As a example, the breakfast Bucks Fizz was a lovely touch. We have no reason to look elsewhere when we come back to Bath, nor will we.
Difficult to think of anything.
The whole experience was just perfect. The location was spot on with just a short walk to the centre. Bath itself is wonderful , a visit to the Roman baths is a must just amazing.
there was nothing to dislike, other than as it was a last minute decision to visit Bath and we where only able to stay one night and we would have liked to stay much longer.
Beautiful room, lovely welcome, peaceful, high quality fit-out, bed and linens, they remembered we were there on our honeymoon and left a lovely welcome card and chocolates, as well as upgrading us to a 'Best Room'
Parking was a tight squeeze, but they did allow us to park across their gate in order to help with this..
Nothing ... all was very good. I came back 2 more times within 10 days
The staff, room and service was exceptional. The breakfast was well worth having. A most enjoyable experience.
Rooms lovely, beds comfortable, staff great and very attentive. Breakfasts fabulous.
We were put in a room by reception. We were advised of this prior to arrival so all OK. It was fine in the evening, only after 7am was it an issue, when everyone was congregating for breakfast. Had we not been informed it would have been a problem, but we were prepared.
The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was the best I have ever had and beds were very comfortable.
The bathroom was very small--but impressively designed. There are no elevators; but the wonderful staff will offer to carry your luggage for you.
Very friendly staff.
Vintage and decor of the building was lovely, quiet location and lovely view of the park across the road and off road parking.
We'd booked a deluxe double room and were placed in a nice room in the eaves on the 3rd floor. It was hot, and the stairs were many! No lift, long way to haul heavy bags. 2 Pedestal fans were supplied. Not a large selection for breakfast. 20 minute plus walk to restaurants and town centre. Bit quiet to walk late at night, though nice area.
Location within walking distance of the town. Nice old house with small but nice garden. Beside a park so a little quieter than in town Parking although extra is charged for this
Extra charge for breakfast Windows rattle when people walk in the building. Fan goes off for no reason during the night Extra everywhere including if you book in after 9pm
Everything (although we did not get a chance to eat breakfast - our fault)
The stylish atmosphere of the villa and rooms.
Extra Charges for breakfast (12,- and Parking 15,-per day)
The property is a lovely, charming and pretty place to stay, very clean and modern but with the touch of historic charm. The location was good and only a small walk from the center. Very good amenities nearby. The staff were welcoming, attentive and very helpful when we asked for their recommendation. Our bedroom was a good size, very clean and bright, they serve a great breakfast as well, I would recommend this Villa for anyone planning to stay in Bath.
The room we had, although we were warned about this in advance, was close to the reception and so there was a bit of noise.
Room Breakfast Location
Care and attention, breakfast, location quick walk from shops, 4 mins! Car parking space, opposite safe, quiet, well-kept park, staff very experienced.
They ask you to wait if someone else is checking in, for a good while, maybe 8mins? When you are very tired and want to go to your room! There could be quite a queue depending on when you arrive!
great location best cooked breakfast ever ! attention to detail nothing too much trouble no noise very very clean
