Nice neat clean single room with tea tray. Staff were friendly & helpful. Toast & cereal available on the landing for breakfast.
I arrived at 3.30pm & the place was locked up so I had to return at 6pm to check in.
It was clean and tidy, staff were very pleasant and helpful. The night we ate in the food was excellent and the service could not be faulted. Although no ta pub you could sit and have a drink at the bar if you wanted and were always made to feel welcome.
If I had a fault at all it would be that due to the hot weather we slept with the window open which at times proved to be a bit noisy with the traffic during late evening/early morning.
Excellent value. Rooms well equipped, clean quiet and comfortable.5* location for football.
Visiting relatives so location was good for us, hotel clean the restaurant looked very nice
Checking in time was a little late for us A bit noisy as it was on a main road and restaurant was popular
Convenience, Style of Breakfast, Friendly Staff, Flexible check in (if you phone in advance).
10am checkout time!!!
VERY NICE STAFF.
IT WAS OK JUST A BIT OUT DATED. BATHROOM NOT GREAT.
very good welcome by the owners. Accommodation good and breakfast facilities good We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was excellent
Probably the worst value hotel I have ever stayed in. £122 for one person in a very ordinary bed and breakfast in a very ordinary location.
Very help staff. Good choice of either buffet or cooked breakfast. Good parking. Excellent Italian restaurant below which belonged to the hotel.
Traffic noise, floor of the room
Restaurant and public areas had great decor.
Bathroom terrible - door wouldn't close, shower door didn't fit - had to be rescued, shaving light not working, one dim overhead light. Continent breakfast provided (to be eaten in the room!) was as basic and unimaginative as it's possible to get.
The showers in room 7 and 8 are not working properly. I found the toilet with urine and was smelling
The place was clean and the staff were great helpfull and polite
Has both disabled the rooms were all up stairs and was a little struggle. To get to rooms but rooms worth it
Friendly staff, good priced accommodation, good food
Excellent value comfortable bed good clean room.
Nice Italian restaurant downstairs Right next to Tranmere Rovers football ground Cereals and orange juice for breakfast
Possibly not so pleasant had there been a football match on Help yourself breakfast from the landing, eat in your own room - but that was ok, not really a dislike
Breakfast simple breakfast available 24 hr. I liked that. Hotel owner was extremely personable and was great getting me taxi service. Bus from downtown can get you basically right at the hotel.
Can't get in (outside door locked) except when owner opens the restaurant in the evening. There is no full time staff only the owner who is on the property only when the restaurant is open. With a cell phone you may be able to get in.
the shower base was VERY slippery. There should have been a non-stick mat.
Free drink due to late check in and late check out agreed due to late check in
Did not like late check in - 17.30 after a long journey. Was on confirmation but tiny, faint print that I missed
The hotel was clean and comfortable
It was a bit tired and bedding a wee bit worn
Very handy for Belfast ferry. Restaurant below accommodation was excellent.
Breakfast was buffet style outside bedroom. Not enough butter/spread available and poor range of cereal. Shower in need of revamping.
It was unfriendly, it smelled of a mixture of stale cooking fat and sweat, nothing worked well, not the TV, not the shower pressure, not the water temperature. They promised a cooked breakfast on request but refused on the day because they didn't have anyone to do it, the reek of drains reached into the bathroom and to cap it all, the restaurant below served the most revolting pizza I have ever seen. Tired and hungry after a day's traveling I could not bring myself to eat it. Even at the money this place is disgusting.
I liked the self service breakfast, very handy, and great idea to be able to eat in my room. Friendly staff, great meals downstairs and good value for money
Decor was a bit tired and the skylight dripped a bit, unfortunately I couldn't be moved to a different room as they were fully booked, but the staff were as helpful as they could be and offered me a free meal in the restaurant downstairs (i'd already eaten so declined ) and luckily we could move the bed and it didn't rain much after that.
Breakfast was a bit poor.
