Great Swimming Pool and hymn facilities. Poor customer service, From front desk onwards. In particular Restaurant staff, who were slow (waited 25 mins for my 1st drink in what was a very quiet restaurant) and treat their customers like they wish they didn't come to dine. One, actually didn't bother to ask the Kitchen staff what my food order contained before serving, then telling me half-way through my meal that the items I had specific I was allergic to were actually served in my dish. Unacceptable!

Beds we good, not hard not soft so would consider staying again in the near future Facilities war good. Travelling as a single woman, we like to be discrete when seated in a restaurant. I was put right in the walk way which would put off eating in the restaurant again even though there were loads of free tables. Also applies to breakfast seating.

1) Dark in bedroom due to spot lights - prefer to be able to have a main light when wanted. 2) Noisy, could hear traffic as situated by main road. 3) Wooden surround by plasma television fell on back of my wifes hand - lucky she didnt hurt herself as she reacted quickly but as it is attached by magnets this could happen again to another guest - if it had fallen on her foot etc. then the hotel could have had a serious situation. Needs to be secured better. 4) Hotel is obviously for short stays only as there was no wardrobe which my wife prefers but only a bar placed over a dressing table type area which had a mirror, trouble is if you hang your clothes up you can't see in the mirror. My wife again was disappointed and placed her case on top of an ironing board! No case facility in room. 5) Need hooks on back of bathroom door to hang dressinggowns etc. 6) No toiletries provided in bathroom. 7) Minimum amount of milk cartons provided and no packets of biscuits etc. which are provided in other DeVere Hotels we have stayed at. 8)Breakfast disappointing - cooked was not hot enough and bacon swimming with grease. We paid £160 for two nights stay at hotel, and bearing in mind the above deficiencies we consider this to be poor value for money.

The hotel was very clean and the room was excellent. Had a really nice nights sleep and the receptionist was very friendly. The bar staff gave me some ice to take to my room which was very helpful. I particularly liked having sky sports in my room. To be honest the cleaner in the morning woke me up by banging the door from across the hall, the left it on the latch and just let it bang shut. I explained this to the receptionist who apologised and I hope he fed this back. It wasn't a big issue but it annoyed me at the time.

Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Helpful and knowledgeable staff, very responsive. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay Unfortunately we were unable to try the full english breakfast because we had to leave on Sunday morning at 7.30 am to travel down to London and were told by the Receptionist that no cooked food would be available - not even a bacon sandwich until 8am! We did arrange for Pastries, cereal and coffee to be delivered to the room but there was no Weetabix just Cornflakes. All seems trivial but would help if you could offer a little flexibility regarding hot food delivered to the room or 'take a way breakfasts' on Sunday mornings would be great.

The staff were especially courteous and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We loved the decor in our bedroom and bathroom and had a very restful night's sleep. We also liked the dining room and despite a very disappointing main course, enjoyed the dinner. My concern was dealt with sympathetically and efficiently and the price of my main course removed from the bill. Roadworks on the adjacent roundabout made it a bit of a nightmare to find our way in to the hotel grounds. However, I appreciate this is temporary.

We thoroughly enjoyed out relaxing morning using the spa facilities followed by a lovely breakfast... The staff were really helpful and friendly and the hotel and room was clean and comfortable.... The hotel itself especially inside was modern and finished to top spec... Unfortunately the low humming noise in our room did become annoying throughout the night and did disrupt our sleep... This is our only complaint....

I was attending a big Netball Grand Prix competition within the area as a liason officer for one of the teams attending, it was close to the venue and a reasonable price for the room. The staff where very polite and very helpful. Will recommend it to anyone who asked me where to stay within the area.

Good location with easy access to motorways. Easy check in /out, staff were friendly and helpful. More of a comment than a dislike, no wardrobe space, hanging rail covered the mirror. A bit noisy from the rooms above and the bathroom extractor had a life of its own. Be careful in the restaurant, prices are a bit high and the food more "style" than substance.

Rooms are always great, and clean, really cosy. Great that there is a nice bar and starbucks and a good restraunt area. Great pool! It was a little noisy with there being a function on, cars horns were beeping for a few hours which meant we didn't sleep much! Apart from that it was great.

The hotel was very modern, very tasteful and extremeley clean. The room was comfortable, inviting and well decorated. The staff were helpful, and even left a bag of fresh towels, toiletries and toilet rolls outside our door because we had the 'Do not disturb' sign out. I think that was a lovely touch. Although the hotel is on the edge of the motorway, it was very quiet. Good value for money for such an expensive looking room. The only downsides I could mention would be that the breaksfast wasn't the best i've ever had. Not much selection of cereals or breads. The cooked stuff looked like it had been out for a long time and there were not many staff about to help. Also where the hotel claims to have 'cable tv', I think it just had one of the sky sports channels and 3 terrestrial channels. Other than this, totally brilliant.

The room was clean & comfortable. Great having an iron, ironing board & hairdryer supplied. Bedroom nicely decorated. Found the breakfast to be chaotic. Long queues, no eggs, tomatoes, beans when I finally reached the counter, no milk for cereal. For this reason I wouldn't like to recommend it to my friends. I was also charged over £9 for 3 phone calls which I found excessive.
