Sealy beds Great value for money breakfast Great pool (if a little busy) Sky Movie channel
Impersonal bar Bose sound system had 40pin Apple doc.
The wedding we attended
Drinks to expensive, no drawers in room, no bath, no hard soap, room prices very expensive.
Room was very comfortable and modern Good variety of food in restaurant and value for money
Being woken up at 1.50 in the morning by other guests arguing loudly in the corridor for 10 minutes There was no wardrobe There was no fridge
Facilities were amazing, spent an afternoon in the spa! Had an upper deck room which was so comfy with a great shower and sky movies too! Ate at the resturant on site which was very tasty and not too expensive!
Loved the use if the gym, swimming pool, sauna & steam room. I find the hotel to be relaxing & has a nice atmosphere whenever I go (even just for a coffee)
We were told the restaurant was fully booked that evening, even though they appeared to have more than 10 tables free every time we went past. In the end we had to eat in the pub at the hotel & the food was a big let down, even though my expectations weren't very high!
Pool ,Starbucks , nice modern hotel
I like the style of the rooms and the lay out
Booked a double room and got two single beds put together. Wrong advertising which is a massive downfall considering I like everything else about the hotel
Not being harsh but the best thing about this hotel is the location. Being near a cinema and bowling alley plus a load of restaurants on ashton moss
Booked a room with a bath and only got a shower.Bed was horrendous 2 twin bed pushed together then made up as a double. Thick Dust everywhere. For the price I would put £10/£20 to it and go to the hilton or somewhere like that. travelodge room's are better in my opinion. And a lot cheaper. But I wanted something nice for my wife and i. And never got it. But you live and learn
Fire alarm at 6am!
On Christmas Day evening, we had lots of noise coming from the room next door. We rang reception 3 times to complain. They tried to rectify the problem with little success that evening but the next day when we spoke to the reception in person, they were very apologetic about the situation and gave us a free upgrade to an upper deck room for the remaining 4 nights of our stay! This kind of customer service is not found very often in the UK but this hotel really went above and beyond to make us satisfied customers. With service like this we would definitely stay here again.
Friendly staff Clean hotel Contemparart looks and feel for budget price
Pillows were to soft No USB connection Only old iPod adapter Air con vents made some noise
Tried to find linking rooms and best price
Long wait at bar to order food as dining area closed
A very good breakfast & excellent pool with very helpful staff
Internet wouldn't connect in our room but worked instantly elsewhere
Excellent efficient and friendly staff. Excellent shower and bathroom facilities, lots of additions to the room e.g iron, ironing board ect
No mini fridge in the room. Room service was very disappointing and very small portion sizes for the large price paid. Would never order room service if I stayed again, would go out of the hotel to the complex across the road.
Great overall stay thank you
The Orange Juice at Breakfast is disgusting, it had a horrible taste and £10 is expensive in the North of England.
Great staff party, superb upper deck room, great facilities and a wonderful buffet breakfast, highly recommended, thanks urban village for a really good night!
bar food service is good but food is only luke warm when served (3) different times of day.and menu is limitied
Good sized rooms, modern, clean
Constant 'flushing' noise- loud and interrupted with sleep
Great shower / bathroom, very comfortable bed.
Poor service in the restaurant (it took 35 minutes for the starter to arrive. ordered burger without onions and it came with diced onions inside the patty itself. No WIFI at all during my stay. Car park resembling a landfill site Noise from pipework and M60 affecting sleep limited channels on TV and the picture quality very poor and batteries in remote held with adhesive tape I dialled 0 for reception from the room phone but it did not get answered so I had to go down to speak to them about the WIFI not working
Great staff , nothing to much trouble for them, very smilie .
Would like to hear more about special offers, also if upgrade available have it suggested, as we never had , but I do know some guest have been asked or offered it on their stay xxx
what can I say!! all went well and top night :)
We had party in like a big white tent with nice lights and candy.
The food we had to wait for a long time that put us off.
Extensive free gym
Hotel very dark inside
Modern hotel. Clean comfortable room. Location - Just jump on a tram an you are in Manchester within 20 mins. Buffet breakfast. Restaurant in Hotel was good but there were other choices on the nearby retail park - so plenty of options for eating out. Would defo stay there when visiting Manchester again.
Unfortunately we had very inconsiderate guests in rooms next to ours that were very noisy returning to the hotel at approx. 3.25am! They were talking in the hallway and banging doors for at least an hour - we did ring reception and complain about this but I don't think Management did anything about it.
