Score from 456 reviews Very good
The room was a good size and it was quiet despite a busy road being nearby. The best bit really was access to the gym, pool and sauna etc.
All good really
Amazing stay, room was perfect and view was pretty! Room service was good and food was brilliant
Spacious and clean twin room, decent bathroom, free parking, good breakfast, excellent gym/leisure facilities, pleasant and helpful staff
Beds in twin rooms are a little narrow (I am used to a much bigger bed!), but they are comfortable enough.
Miserable breakfast staff.
Very good and clean hotel In a good location Reasonably priced Good facilities
The seaward view is really nice , breakfast was great , bar was ok poor selection of beersstaff were spot on.
The lift constantly stopping on the first floor despite not being selected. distance from lift to room
Nice hotel good friendly service for a large hotel, have a 25 meter pool !!! plenty of free parking, cant fault it.
Really good choice of hotel. Excellent service. Breakfast superb, particularly the offer of "custom made" I had a wonderful omlette, not offered by a lot of top hotels. Makes this one special.
Breakfast was great Staff great Well looked after
Tiles around bath area needs a good scrub
Staff very friendly, good breakfast available. Bed was comfortable and slept well. Asked for travel cot and was provided.
Wi fi kept dropping off. Stayed in room 527 was clean but the tiles in bathroom were dirty were grout was.
Room and bathroom were clean Breakfast OK
Requested sea view - didn't get it and when mentioned the following morning to the chap on reception he asked if I'd mentioned it when booking in - I said as I had requested it, I assumed I was being given a key for a room with sea view and the girl didn't say 'sorry, but you will not have a sea view' - it was only once we'd unpacked we realised we didn't have one. Restaurant wasn't open when we arrived at 8pm (we have been able to order food up until 9.30pm to eat in the restaurant in other hotels at which we have stayed) so had to eat in their 'pub' with not that good a selection of food in our opinion. Caesar salad was smothered in dressing making it almost inedible. Breakfast was OK but would have liked to have seen laverbread on menu seeing as we were in Swansea and 5mins away from the market, also Cheshire Farm ice cream on menu when Swansea has Joe's ice cream that has been there for many moons and is wonderful - would have been nice to see them supporting local businesses. Slightly unfair I admit to say Wi-Fi poor as storm had cut off internal phone system and Wi-Fi, we were told engineer on his way and if we wanted room service we had to go down to reception.
Lovly hotel, everything you could ask for, can't wait to book again
Room was spacious, clean and very attractive decor! Staff were informative and polite. Main hotel was also lovely. Definitely stay here again.
We were placed in a disabled room unknowingly with a wet room which didn't drain properly and ran into the main bedroom slightly.
The reception we got (as well as any further communication) with the lady at the front desk was excellent! Very helpful, very warm.
The bed was not comfortable and the people who were above our room were noisy! We'd asked for a twin room - a twin room we got but unfortunately the beds were pulled together (as a double) with one duvet. Having to input all sorts of details before having access to WiFi put me off using it so I didn't bother.
Comfortable room and nice size bathroom. Location good for central Swansea.
Not enough coffee sachets, had to ask for more to be brought to the room as Reception didn't have any.
the swimming pool
Clean, tidy, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast
A/C did not cool the room
Sports facilities - much better than you would usually get in a hotel. Great classes Onsite Starbucks Clean room with desk Easy parking
Room was very noisy (like being by an ibiza club with the bass coming from the spinning and aerobics studio) - not great when trying to work in my room (had to put ear plugs in) and also get woken when the classes start at 6.15am (have requested car park side for my visit this week) Room was very warm - couldn't get the air con to sort it and ended up having the window open and was freezing! Food was average But i'm back this week so couldn't have been so bad :-)
Love the fact the hotel is close to the SA1 area and the rooms are overall good. Breakfast is good value and it's easy to park. The reception staff are fantastic.
The bath had quite a lot of mould round it and the tiles on the floor were broken. Have stayed at the hotel a few times and most of the bathrooms are like this.
Friendly, helpful staff.
Noisy guests returning until 5 o'clock in the morning.
Friendly smiley staff, all very helpful. Lovely food.
The place and facilities are ideal. Leisure complex is great, good variety of equipment and pool was good. On entering the hotel, the staff are so cheerful, friendly and helpful and this was true in all places within the hotel. Location is great for walking along harbour to the sea front and even to Mumbles if you don't mind walking. You can also walk into town. will definitely be back again for a break :)
Nothing we didn't like at all
Location Parking Cleanliness
No Soap in Dispensers at Health Club Weighing Scale in Changing Room charged 70p for BMI and only gave weight Only 1 floor towel and one regular bath towel provided in twin room
Friendly, helpful receptionist. Had a good, quiet night. Plenty of towels.
Lack of tea and coffee making facilities in room. Doors made clang when closed. Fortunately, other guests considerate and this was not a problem, but closers need adjusting to close doors silently. Room very hot and turning down thermostat seemed to make no difference.
