reception staff really nice as was the young bar man in the verve..

We can down for breakfast 5 mins late and wasnt goin to get served, only because te young lad in the verve the night before served us.Maybe breakfast could be extended until 10 am

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities were excellent. It was idea for the course which I did at the Hotel, overall very good.

I arrived at the Hotel at 1pm but couldn't check in till 2.30pm which was a bit inconvenient but I was welcome to use the facilities while I waited.

A good night ruined by the miserable attitude of receptionist she is obviously in the wrong job I stay at hotels every week and she has the worst attitude I have ever come accross

The warm and friendly atmosphere, the staff were very helpful. The pool and spa area was very clean and easy to get to. Rooms were warm,comfortable and very clean. The location was very handy for all the towns in Tameside also if you wanted a trip into the centre of Manchester this was only a 20 min ride away. I will stay at this hotel again in the future.

I have no complaints.

Sportfacilities are nice with a good gym and 25m pool. Pool was a bit warm (29 degrees) for serious lap swimming.

Rooms need refurbishment; especially the bathroom. Moulds were growing around the bathtub.

All the disabled parking spaces seemed to be taken with non disabled people. I was travelling with elderly and disabled releatives and had to park a good distance from the entrance as all the disabled spaces were taken. It was also difficult to drop anyone off at the entrance as it was a bit tight. The lady on reception at the time of check in was very off hand and disinterested and one of the ladies at breakfast was very abrupt and rude when asked for something. However the young guy on duty was very pleasant and helpful.

It is handy to reach Manchester

The staff were freindly and helpful and the facilities were great.We enjoyed the food and it was good value for money.

The only downside was the room was a little dusty.

Our room on a hot night was stuffy even with window open and noisy until the early hours with noise from youngsters in car park. Fan provided but ineffective.To be fair this was an unusually hot weekend and this would not normally be a problem
