We are members of another Village club, and it is useful to find everything familiar - all the clubs are teh same layout and facilities so you know what to expect. |

The pool facilities were great and it was very clean everywhere you looked. I found the staff (particularly the reception and bar) unfriendly. I can't remember one of them smiling at us. I also found that the bar is not a good area for eating with two young children. There seemed to be a function on so I asked for our meals to be taken up to our room, which I then got charged a room service tariff for. |

The use of the pool On the Friday night, three of us ate in the bar. As we didn't have much time we ordered burgers and chips, these were cold and to salty and we had no time to wait for a reorder. But breakfast was great. |

Value for money and choice of facilities. Food menu was a little limited - too much meat and not enough fish. Lamb was not available due to a kitchen error. Not really many vegetarian options. |

Very good facilities - The room was well laid out and comfortable. On the Friday we were woken at 6.30 am by very load music (like a boom Box)which was coming form the aerobics class in the liesure facilities. Given that we were on the 3rd floor I was suprised that you could hear it. I rang the reception who kindly said that she would get the liesure manager to turn down the volume. We realised that the soound was coming from the aair vents on the roof right opposite our room. I was assured that the aerobics class would not be starting until 9am on the Saturday or Sunday morning. Yipee does that make it right? |

This is a good hotel group and their facilities are standard so you know exactly what to expect in terms of room size and quality There was a wedding reception taking place, which was very noisy at times and spilled over all the public areas so you couldn't get away from it and enjoy your own space/place. The receptionist was actually sitting on the side of the reception desk when we arrived - not a very professional first impression. |

The swimming complex was brilliant. The layout of facilities and general arrangement was excellent, together with the freshness of public areas and comfort of rooms made it a hotel I would recommend The noise generated by unsociable guests in the early hours of Sunday morning. The hotel did apologise and compensated us for this. |

Breakfast excellent, room was fine, rate less than when I last stayed here. The hotel now seems to be primarily a fitness centre- with a new exercise hall built on the roof of the annex. Loud bass from an excercise class woke me up at 06:30, and a Karaoke or similar went on until 23.30 the night before. And I was on the top floor, so it should have been quiet. From breakfast til late the hotel bars and meeting areas are crowded with fitness persons. |

All bar staff were excellent and Nikki was an absolute star and volunteered for extra shifts to take care of our group. Truly a lady that enjoys her job and pulls out all the stops to be accommodating. If I were in the hospitality trade I wouldnt hesitate in giving this lady a job ! Worth her weight in gold ! Wide range of pricing ! Heard receptionist taking a booking for gbp 49.99 for one night for a family room ( 2 adults + 2 Kids ). I needed an extra room for one night for a late guest ( 9.30pm ) and they charged gbp 95.00 ! |
