Good facilities for young famalies
Breakfast service could be improved lack of tables, long waits and cold food. Crockery chipped
Good location and good sized pool.
Standards of cleanliness and decor appear to deteriorating. Nightly rates rising.
Good restaurant, large comfortable rooms and friendly staff
Bit too far out of Bournemouth, so needed to drive to access town centre and beach area. Pool area was slightly too cold to be comfortable swimming/relaxing
Free gym and swimming pool Breakfast is alright, friendly staff, quiet and comfortable
The hotel is out of town a little, but is only 10-15 minutes drive from the city centre.
The rooms were quite spacious the pool was lovely and it was nice to have a starbucks actually in the lobby of the hotel
The pillows were just to soft when you led on them they moulded around your head and went flat
Leisure facilities were good and breakfast was excellent
lot of facilities friendly staff free parking
Pool & gym
everything about the hotel wasexcellent i could not fault it.
Swimming pool facilities were excellent, food very good and good value for money. Staff helpful and friendly.
The sofa bed in the family room was very uncomfortable as were the pillows, very flat and lumpy. I was shocked that the television did not have one channel appropriate for children despite there being so many children staying at the hotel! No tea and coffee making facilities in the room which was disappointing.
Staff very polite and friendly the swimming pool clean and warm in all a nice time was had by all . Thank You .
The chairs in Starbucks old tatty and dirty, my Daughters bed she is Five and said the bed was uncomfortable and it was when l laid on it for a little while!
All of it, the staff at all departments were excellent always willing to help if required.this is the 3rd time here and would always stay here if in the area. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Good location with easy access to Bournemouths many beaches. Also convenient for travel to Poole & Swanage
Bedrooms very warm even with air conditioning on
Good location for Bournemouth, Poole and surrounding area
The fact that they seemed to provide accommodation whereas everything else in the area was fully booked.
The fact that they cancelled my booking and had to spend the night in the new forest without accommodation.
Wifi Sink slow emptying Staff slow clearing tables at breakfast
Breakfast was excellent and meals for kids were free with 2 adults eating. The staff was very helpful. The kids enjoyed the pool and the staff at the pool were very helpful and ready to help.
no airconditioning in bedrooms and wifi in bedroom was very poor. no fridge in bedroom, but you could order some ice in a bucket if you wanted a cool drink in your room. checking time was 3 pm could be earlier.
the room was comfortable. the bar was good . The restaurant wasn't a great success bearing in mind they only had 2 customers but they did their best.
there was no kettle or coffee making facility in the room or minibar so I had to go down to the concierge to get a bottle of water late at night.
pre-booked quiet room!!!!! keep awake till early morning by disco. room 515 not happy. felt tired next day at a wedding. Had a drink in the room from tea tray. Not refreshed at all. bit cheap for an expensive room.
The room and facilities were excellent. Reception staff helpful; check in and out was easy and quick. We have stayed before and will stay again.
Lots of food squashed into the dining room carpet which did smell. At the next refurb, I would have a hard floor which could be easily cleaned.
Facilities and staff were superb
Had wake up call at 7:30 that we didn't ask for. Due to booking.com messing up our booking, we had to split the family into 2 rooms.
Very noisy complained about the wafer this walls and noise all around. Would not stay again.
The staff were very pleasant, although all rather young and inexperienced. Receptionist on duty when we arrived in the evening was very good. The food was quite good, but see further comments on our 'dislikes'
One of the towels in the bathroom had clearly been used and shoved back on the rail. The pricing in the restaurant is very high. However, we were encouraged to eat in the hotel as we were given vouchers for the restaurants by the hotel receptionist on our arrival. These were quite badly printed and hard to read. However, on this basis we chose to have dessert as one voucher said this was 'free with a main course' but were told we could not use this in conjunction with the other voucher we were given on the same page. The other voucher offered two steaks plus a free glass of red wine for two people for £30. On the bill, we were charged extra for the wine, as they didn't have the wine in the offer and the wine they chose to give us instead was more expensive! The bill was not at all transparent and we came away thinking 'now how did we end up paying as much as that?' The restaurant tables were horribly sticky, and I noticed one of the waitresses sweeping the debris directly onto the floor when clearing tables. The bread and pastries at breakfast were decidedly stale, and the toast queue stretched on forever, so we didn't bother. There is a table placed by the door to the kitchen which was in the way of the queue for hot food - actually, the door to the kitchen is in a daft position altogether, given the hot food queue.
