Good location for what we needed, great breakfast. Pool looked huge - had no time to use it though!

No toiletries in the rooms which is really cheap when you spend £105 for B&B. Decor was too dark. Rooms felt spartan although beds was comfortable. No air con. Overpriced, for what felt a lot like a Premier Inn.

Convenience for our rendezvous in bury

The decor was very dark, floors and furniture. Very small windows in bedrooms. Bath and shower not easy for me with knee trouble.. public rooms unpleasantly crowded with touch noise. Didn't like Starbucks nor the Italian food outlet.

I had originally booked for two nights at 105.00 per night, I find that I had to cancel one night and the hotel change the cost of Saturday night to 125.00, I know that they were sold out but I do think this was unreasonable

We loved the pool & spa and the staff were very friendly & helpful,Our room was lovely with a super sized bed which was very comfortable and kept spotless by the cleaning staff. it was nice to have the pub on site to relax in, also the hotel breakfast was excellent. we found it was idea for a twenty minute stroll to the rock & bury market and also to be able to make use of the brilliant tram service into Manchester.

- leisure facilities absolutely filthy and dirty, disgusting, I don't know if they clean at all the place.. - sauna had a broken bench.. as I work in construction I have no idea how they managed to still let people use it.. I decided to report it to H&S. - prices are 5 star but the value is hardly 2 star - breakfast disgusting and poor choice

My toilet flush was not working Half the lights stopped working in the middle of the night a couple woke me up arguing and kept arguing on and off for several hours until I finally called reception who dealt with it promptly and professionally I rang room service, which was not answered but I was given the option to leave a message. I assumed that this would mean I could leave my order. When I re-contacted reception after an hour I was told that leaving a message did not mean I had ordered. So I not quite sure why the option to leave a message is there, if it won't be acted upon.

Pool and Gym' facilities, bar and reception staff, good parking and location.

Dining. * Ordered wine that didn't come on the Saturday * At breakfast on the Monday, there were no eggs on the servery. The tray had been removed when I arrived & I waited a few minutes before I searched out someone. I was told they would be a 'few minutes'. Some 12 minutes later they arrived and was told it took time for them to cook!! * Also at breakfast, a cleaner dropped cutlery at each and every table she cleared. Perhaps a bit sensitive having had to wait about 15 minutes for eggs. This area is the weakest part of the hotel - correct these issues and I'll gladly return.

Comfortable room at quiet end of hotel with pleasant outlook. Pleasant dinning expereince, excellent pool and gym. Suspect it is more geared to younger people for whom it appears very polpular.

Lack of quiet lounge area. Noise from bar made conversation impossible one evening. No one at reception to talk to about it.

the rooms we stayed in where not clean and there was dust on all edges of furniture and also the pillows on the beds where uncomftuble need a choice

Good facilities such as pool and gym and location! Modern rooms!

Cleanliness poor, very dusty! Pillows uncomfortable! Poor quality of coffee in room and lack of choice in tea/coffee facilities! The company I have worked for have booked a works party for Xmas at the Birmingham venue, these things mentioned have put me off slightly!

Ideally situated for a one night stay to attend my brother in laws funeral

The price. I paid£26.00 More than my brother and they had evening meal included. I am not happy.

Music in Both bars far too loud even at breakfast. Evening meal in Italian restaurant mediocre to say the least (8 of us dining) one meal was inedible (received money back for this meal.

Room was a little shabbyHad noise from the kitchen fans....was told was the laundry and would be off early evening.... after calling after 11pm whatever it was (at this point told it was kitchen fans) finally the noise ceased

The hotel is very comfortable and travelling alone I feel safe there. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Having family and friends in the Bury area it is a good place to stay and have used the hotel several times each year since it was built

There was a themed evening on Saturday night and I found the noise from younger guests started at 6.30 in the evening until 1 the following morning. Perhaps guests attending such an event could be located in a separate wing

£20 extra charge on Saturday night over & above the figure I paid for Friday night ie Friday - £75 Saturday £95 Could do with repainting to freshen up parts of hotel ie breakfast area. Area above air conditioning vents dirty at ceiling
