I always stay at this hotel when I visit my elderley father as it is quite close to where he lives, it is like a home from home for me now. The only complaint I would have is about the reception staff, who are not as friendly or helpful as the rest of the staff.

Service, location, facilities especially pool and spa etc Room problems with heater and tv took longer than expected to sort out. Gymnasium in need of modern equipment, 3 rowers but 2 out of commission, bikes antiquated, hygiene poor.

The room was clean and warm and the bed very comfortable. The television was easy to use and there were plenty of clean towels. The swimming pool looked great though we did not have time to use this unfortunately. The room was fine but needing some updating. The net curtains were dirty and the curtains needed attention. There were a few occasions when neighbouring guests were excessively noisy in their rooms and doors banged incessantly. Some of the guests were throwing bottles, cups and rubbish out onto the swimming pool roof. Some staff were friendly and helpful but others were surly and did not smile when addressing us. We ordered a packed breakfast to take with us on our early departure but there was a mix-up over the date and we had to make do with a hastily prepared meal which comprised of orange juice and fruit.

Very friendly receptionist who made sure we were in an appropriate room for our stay which she conveniently changed as we had been allocated one over the noisy pumps (her words). There was live music in the bar which was excellent. Unfortunately there were a number of very badly behaved small children running amok in the bar, unsupervised by any grown ups. Wondered if any of the bar staff or the doorman in attendance have any powers to stop was what totally unacceptable behaviour.

We`ve stayed here many times (to visit relatives) and like the fact that the Village maintains a consistent standard. It`s modern, bright, clean and comfortable and a very good base for a short break. Breakfast time can be very busy and is self service, it could be improved if some thought was given to creating more space and better "traffic flow" around the service area and also either providing an additional toaster or amore efficient one.

We liked the hotel rooms and dining room/restuarant and the spa area. However the main bar lounge area was very depressing and in need of improvement. Three TV,s all on different channels very distracting and noisy. One final point. The main reception area was very draughty as the outer door was open most of the time and the inner door was fixed open- our visit was in early December.

Stayed here for one night as was seeing a show at Warwick arts centre. The room was comfortable and very clean. There is a proper pub in the hotel which had entertainment and served food and the hotel also had leisure facilities but did not have time to check these out. A buffet breakfast was also served. There was plenty of choice but the restaurant was very busy. I would stay at this hotel again.

Convenient for where we needed to be. Comfortable rooms. Good food. Only that we happened to stay on a night when there was a major function going on; which meant that we couldn't eat in the restaurant. This left us eating in the busy bar where football was being shown. Not the end of the world but not us. Excellent staff and good food made it perfectly tolerable.

Excellent range of facilities. We met with friends and the central location was ideal for meeting friends from as far afield as Liverpool and Hampshire. The bar, restaurant, pool and leaisure facilities were well tested by us all, as well as the in house Starbucks. Very relaxed but buzzing atmosphere. We will use this chain of hotels again, and will likely use the same hotel in the future too. Excellent value. They also coped well with my gluten free diet without fussing.

The room was bigger than expected and the hotel was compact enough to find your way around. There was ample free parking. The restaurant was good and the service was brilliant, especially at breakfast when it was busy, one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had. There was no information pack in the room despite asking for one. The tv was practically unwatchable as the picture was extremely poor (only managed 10 minutes then had to turn it off) and when the engineer came to look at it he told us all the tv pictures were the same. The hairdryer wouldn't work and was burned at the ends and the bath needed cleaning as bits had been missed.

The reason for our stay was my son got married at the De Vere Village and I would like to say the staff were wonderful making the service and reception go off without a hitch. The actual food was very good and very hot and they catered for our numerous dietry requirements. Most of our party also used the leisure facilities. We all had a wonderful day thanks to the staff.

There was nice room and very good bed. Hotel Staff was very friendly and over all this place was good to spend a nigth. Little long distance of Coventry center but that travel can be taken on taxi like £ 10 , or U can walk it like 20-30min.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, we particularly enjoyed the bar because of its atmosphere, well priced food and sky TV. We had sky sports on our bedroom TV and free wifi. The room was very comfortable and clean. We would have preferred to have Breakfast earlier on Saturday.

Great value for money. When I got home I tried to book to stay again at the end of October, but the room would cost £20 more then. School holiday price hikes seem so unfair.
