Rooms to warm
The staff on reception were very welcoming and friendly . Breakfast was excellent ! Great choice and lots of staff on hand to clear tables and replace the buffet food
Location was great Hotel room was modern and clean gym and pool on site
Breakfast. The continental options were good. The staff were very friendly. The hot buffet was poor. The sausages tasted poor quality and looked like they had been out a long time. THe bacon was dry and hard so also looked like it had been out a while.
The whole experience was excellent. We've stayed in two village hotels now and are looking to book our next stay very soon
I couldn't get the wifi connection
I found the staff friendly and most helpfull. I would definitly recommend this hotel and stay if in the area
facilities and staff
Leisure Facilities Breakfast
On site pub - too noisy
I have stayed here a few times and comeback mainly because I find the staff so friendly and helpful I love the facilities once we check in we don't leave the hotel till it's time to check out and that's the way we like it, hopefully we will be here again for my birthday next year.
The shower in my room was not great however I did use the showers in the changing rooms and they were superb
Initial contact with staff on reception was excellent: helpful and professional; room-service service was also excellent
Hot water tap in the shower did not regulate the temperature at all, and then came off in my hand! Head full of shampoo and daughter unable to have a shower at all. When I informed reception the young lady made a note, presumably for maintenance, but offered neither acknowledgement nor apology for the inconvenience and the potential danger.
The room was clean and of a reasonable standard. We stayed in the coach house and found it was quite tranquil.
The options regarding meals...it was a Sunday evening but not very accommodating regarding choice although the restaurant was still open. Had an issue getting an earlier breakfast than 8am.... but managed to book in for 7.30...not a visit we will repeat readily
Staff were friendly and very helpful
The view from the hotel isn't great
Leisure Facilities Quiet rooms
Staff seemed to be disorganised when coping with the total power cut and did not really help guests find other places to eat outside of the hotel.
Nothing, I liked everything
The village hotel was welcoming approachable rooms were excellent warm clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely use of the pool was great and a Starbucks coffee toleave very enjoyable stay and would certainly recommend this hotel.
There wasn't any thing I didn't like.
Friendly staff Hotel facilities Food Location Price
Bed and breakfast was excellent value for the price. Very comfortable room. Good reception staff. Spa staff and facilities good. It was our wedding anniversary and the staff made it special with a card, balloons and coffee and cake- these kind of small touches made a real difference to the stay. Breakfast (except the temperamental toaster) was very good.
Evening meal in the restaurant - service was poor with mistakes in every course. The water ordered never arrived. The steak had large amounts of gristle so there was quite a lot that could not be eaten which was unacceptable for the price we were charged. Would not recommend eating there as there are good reasonably priced restaurants nearby.
value for money helpful reception staff
poor standard of cleanliness restaurant service very slow even though only a few guests dining. kids had finished their meals before ours came. evening meal awful, dry inedible food and frozen chips with everything
Friendly and helpful staff st all times
The football table and breakfast
To be able to use the Gym with my children - and not be so restricted by times.
The price. Staff leisure facility
The fact they failed to provide g free sausages. For breakfast. Despite 4 days notice and verbally on day of arrival and day after the hotel blamed booking ' com
This was our first stay at a Village Uban Resort and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and that nothing was a problem. The reception staff were friendly and inviting and despite arriving early at 11am we were asked if would like to leave our cases and enjoy the facilities until our room was ready. We had pre-booked treatments for me and my wife with a friendly member of the health club team - she even called us the day before to confirm treatment times. The treatment were excellent and good value for money. On the evening our three teenage boys opted for Xbox and room service rather than dine with the oldies. My wife and I had a wonderful meal in the main restaurant, the staff again were excellent, professional and very pleasant. My wife opted for a crab pasta dish and requested a side order of grilled ling prawns and extra hot - again not a problem and she made a point of thanking the chef for one of the best dishes she'd had!. Overall our stay was faultless and can not recommend the hotel highly enough. One disappointment is the fact it is 200 miles from home or it would be regular stay for us! Going to book our local Newcastle holtel and hope the experience will be just as good!
super-friendly staff that was really helpful and in all circumstances
wifi not working as it shld have, but the staff helped out
excellent location,10 mins from warwick,10 mins from coventry. superb value for money, great service, great facilities, family friendly and a very relaxing hotel.
great gym, spa and pool facilities. Bar was good value on food. Near enough town.
Paper thin walls meant we were listening to a conversation all night in the nex room. Even though the weather was not hot the room was too warm and a little uncomfortable, even with the fan on and windows open. This did not spoil our trip though.
