It was perfect for us as we came to Birmingham to a wedding with family members. We wish it could have been longer to enjoy your excellent facilities. The only minus for me was no shampoo or hair coditioner in room which I normally carry everywhere. With the wedding being that day, I went for a morning swim ,imagine my dilemma , a lady not able to do her crowning glory justice on the day bummer!!!!!!!!

The hotel was very clean and very big ,We checked in about 12 pm on the Fri afternoon ,We were very pleased to get our room early as they say you cant check in until 3 pm.We had our lunch in the bar and it was very tasty and not to dear!!!!!!We were also delighted that we had got a front room on the first floor as the couple we were with had a room at the back of the hotel over looking the roof.I loved the fact that they had a Starbucks in the reception of the hotel and a little seating area around it.We went out on the fri evening for our tea into the village part which is only a 5 min walk, that has a cinema and alot of eating places to choose from. The hotel is in a nice part of Dudley and there were alot of things to do near by. We had been traveling from 6 am on the fri morning,We had checked into our room and left the hotel in the evening to get some tea,we went to our room early enough,We could not believe the music that was coming from below our room!!!!!!!We didnt realise that the hotel have live music on a friday night!!!Hence the noise that was unbearable.for us.I did phone down to complain it took about 5 to 10 mins for the girl to answer the phone,i guessed she couldn't hear it.The girl did offer to move us at 11pm but we were so tired we said no.The room she was going to move us too was on the second floor above the venue room as she put it,We then discovered on the Saturday night if we had of moved they were having a wedding in the venue room and we would of had the same problem on the Saturday night.

1. Very poor quality food, expensive and pretentiously described. eg., I bought 2 'cured' ham sandwiches in the bar which cost over £9 but had stale bread and were sub-garage standard. 2. Bar is a no-go area for families as massive tv screens all over the bar make loud televised football unavoidable. 3. Soap dispensers in room cheap and tacky 4. Likewise the Starbucks and snack bar in reception add to tacky atmosphere

Friendly Staff When booking i wrote in the notes section on booking.com website to ask the hotel if i could be allocated a room that was not on the front because of noise from the duel carriageway and the noise from people drinking late outside the hotel or waiting to get taxis, however i was still put at the front and did not get much sleep.

The facilities and staff were good and for the price paid good value was experienced. I would recommend the hotel to others. It is important when requesting rooms to ensure they are away from the entrance and function areas as these are extremely noisy even early in the morning !!

We were attending a function just up the road, so the location was excellent. First impressions were very good, the reception staff were very good, the facilities around reception very good, as was the room. We ate in the restaurant both nights of our stay and found the food to be excellent. I wasn't happy when, on our first night, we were overcharged on our bar bill, and they couldn't sort it because they hadn't itemised it. If you have a room overlooking the main entrance, be aware that it can get very noisy. Not such a problem before midnight, when you expect noise, but irritating after when you're trying to get some sleep. We had a problem in the early hours of our first night that took longer to resolve than it should have, so I had to call down to reception to get it sorted, when the reception staff should have dealt with it a lot earlier. And I was far from happy on our second morning, when my wife wanted Earl Grey tea and was charged £1.50 for the tea bag. Very tacky!

Everything I thought it was a brilliant hotel that catered for all my needs.. Both myself and my wife really enjoyed our stay although it was only for 1 night. Very clean and the staff were very friendly. A hotel I would recommend to anyone going to Birmingham whether for a break or shopping, Yours Jeremy Rich Nothing, as previously stated the hotel and everything associated with it was excellant.

Really enjoyed our weekend. Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful and the facilities are great, We'll come again!! A couple of very minor points; the soap dispenser in our bathroom was broken and one of the bedside lamps had no bulb or fitting. And due to them being short staffed and inclement weather keeping a large volume of customers at the hotel, we were kept waiting a lot during our Saturday evening meal. But none of this significantly detracted from a thoroughly pleasant and enjoyable weekend.

The toilets where to far away to use

Nice friendly hotel, modern, clean & comfortable - would use again & recommend. However, I do have some negative comments.... Impressed with leisure facilities - but unable to use them - Breakfast served until 09:30am - Pool opens at 9am - only booked hotel because of pool so ended up being very disappointed - cannot swim on a full stomach & breakfast paid for as booked hotel weeks ago, also leisure pool closed when booked in & restaurant closed - it was Boxing Day - however, this is a hotel, therefore all facilities advertised should be open!!!!

Friendly atmosphere with adequate facilities for our purpose. Pleasantly comfortable both in the main areas of the hotel and in the room. I was somewhat surprised to be asked for an extra £1.50 for a cup of Earl Grey tea at breakfast. Especially as I had already settled my bill. An unecessary inconvenience.
