Good access to and from Headingley and the Leeds North Ring Road. Very noisy environment. I turned up just after 3 pm, expecting to be able to check-in only to be told that there were no rooms ready (this despite the check-out time being advertised as 11 am). I was subsequently allocated a room above the bar, from which loud music was audible until 11.30 pm and further noise from its customers until 12.30 am. My overall impression of the establishment is that its function as a hotel has become secondary to the other activities. If you want somewhere that you will get a decent night's sleep, then this isn't the place to stay.

Mainly the location. Staff were most friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with good service. Quality of the food in the dinning room was very poor on the two nights we ate in and we thought it over priced,

found it unacceptable having a young disabled child & the stair lift being cable tied up as that was the way we were directed to our room so we had to lift him up the small set of stairs with our luggage & other child price was rather expensive so what I would have liked to have paid, but we were at a wedding which was being held there & the drinks were overpriced. didnt like the fact that the lift was cable tied up & the we were given 3 different times for breakfast which was quite confusing by staff.

It was conveniently located (if not very close to) in regard to our destination - Harewood House. Although we didn't have the time to enjoy all the facilities, the hotel seemed to ve well-suited to a leisure trip. The rigidity about the check-in time proved to ve most inconvenient to us. Having arrived at 1 pm, we had to wait for almost two hours to allowed to have a room. Whilst guests are obliged to check-out by 11 am, this late (3 pm) check-in time is quite unreasonable.

Generally all the staff were really friendly and helpful, the Hotel was very welcoming and as the visit was for my sons wedding the location was ideal. I would also say the location is great for Leeds City Centre, but also various attractions around Leeds are within 6 or 7 miles. For me the two things I didn't like about the Village Hotel were the lack of any ties to Frequent flyer cards, so no potential loyalty reqards. Secondly I noticed when putting the sign on my door to have my room cleaned there was no PLEASE on the request. This didn't sit comfortably with me to be honest, it just shows a little bit of respect for the staff who were always helpful and amicable.

I like that the Village in Leeds has an indoor pool area which is great for young and old alike. The hotel is well situated to be within easy reach of the City centre. Rooms (like most hotels) are too hot and a bit stuffy.

Good location, nice inside and frigidly staff. The only thing I didn't like about my stay is the menu in the Victory Bar is very poor. We wanted a chicken dish and it didn't even do one - ive never been anywhere before that doesn't have chicken on their menu ( apart from a burger) that was my only fault. We ended up having a bowl of chips as there was nothing else that we wanted.

Friendly staff, nice room, good breakfast Some of the dressings were stained such as the frill round the bead which was stained and ripped and the sofa was a bit stained. Also on i day the lady greeting people in the restaurant for breakfast was rude to me!

Good access into Leeds. Evening meal in the hotel was good and reasonably priced. Whilst there was a good selection of food for breakfast, it was a little disappointing :-( poor quality sausages, greasy sliced potatoes.
