The bed was very comfortable. Room: we expected at least a bar of soap on the sink, but there was absolutely nothing in the bathroom; simply towels and a shower-gel fixed to the wall. It didn't feel very welcoming at all. Also, were woken up during the night by the sound of banging doors. We eventually found out our room door was making noise due to the wind. It did really spoil the night. Restaurant: we ordered the house burgers and they took one whole hour to arrive! We weren't impressed by the breakfast either. |

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The hotel had good facilities and the location was spot on. The could of been more of a continental selection for breakfast. |

It had a Starbucks for daily snacks which was useful because the dinners were poor. Breakfast was included and that was nice enough. The room did not feel very clean - particularly the bathroom and the food was really poor. Needed to be better because there was not much else the hotel had to offer. Hotel seemed isolated apart from some community visitors - so you would need a car. The facilities needed to include a spa. The TV was too basic (no packages) and visual quality was bad. The hotel was not dirty or awful - just nothing special |

We were able to relax and do as much or as litle as we wanted, which was our aim.Good to have a hotel that do not charge sky high prices for drinks in the bar, which in turn meant more people stayed in rather than visiting local pubs. |

The swimming pool etc was very good although there was selected times for children to swim. The room was very quiet. The food in bar was very good. There was no view from the room, only a view of the roof of building below and some pipe work. Only a minimum selection of tea, coffee, no hot chocolate or biscuits, The cleaners did not clean bedside table. The room was too warm. i would not class this as a 4* hotel. |

Usually hotel pool's are small, cramped and not particularly welcoming - this one was just the opposite - no wonder the locals used it! My prefernece is for a modern stylish bathroom rather than a flat screen TV. |

The leisure facilities. The fact that the windows in our bedroom did not open (they were security locked) and although a fan was provided this was not really helpful in keeping the room cool. |

We had an evening meal in the hotel which was lovely. Although the restaurant seemed a bit small in relation to the size of the hotel. The beds weren't that comfy. |

The restaurant was pleasant and served remarkably good food. Bedrooms had no aircon and window opening was very restricted. In warm weather sleep was almost impossible. The fan which was supplied served only to stir the heat. |
