Location and quiet. Breakfast good.
Mattress very uncomfortable. Felt lumpy.
Everything was really good.
staff welcoming ease of parking and location
disturbed in night by someone entering room by mistake
staff were lovely and helpful lovely location, close to where we needed to go great menu, mixed grill was beautiful all round a great place to stay
being woke at 7.30am to a howling dog in the next room, ending up leaving and missing breakfast, had a 2 hour drive home so was a little cheesed off. no other complaints otherwise
Great location near Manchester, safe and secure. Fab bar - v reasonable prices (£20 for two dinner meals and a drink etc). Lovely dining room and breakfast was good. Staff are friendly, room was clean, comfortable and functionable - great value for money. Will stay agin for sure. Check out was 11am.
No wifi in bedroom. Slight noise of squash court but stopped in evening.
The staff we're really polite when arriving, at the hotel. And the morning breakfast was lovely. Fantastic value for money. Definitely return.
The two receptionists where good & pet friendly
The rest of the staff where very rude & abustive has they parked in disabled bays & when asked to move got very abustive & refused to move
Quiete from the hotel.
Small TV, hole in outer window, bed moved, bed sheets itchy, old dirty looking bathroom, door leading to another bedroom.
Location, breakfast price
Corridors it was like rabbit warren with a lot of heavy fire doors, stairs the elderly or people with certain dissabilitys would have struggled
Bar lounge area & location & free parking
Uncomfortable bed. Dirty carpets. No leisure facilities . Cold bedroom.
Location. Bar & lounge
No facilities. Dirty carpet. Uncomfortable bed. Broken toilet seat and shower door.
Location Friendliness Free parking
Breakfast Tv didn't work
Good value for money. We arrived late at night and left early morning as we drove down from Glasgow to come to the Christmas markets. Just wanted somewhere to sleep really. Breakfast included made it a great bargain for a basic room.
Room was basic and dated. Beds could have been better however I have the talent of being able to sleep most places so didn't particularly bother me.
Friendly staff Efficient Unobtrusive staff Comfortable room Convenient location Excellent breakfast
The waether - but can't blame the hotel for that!
Being able to take our dog was great thanks.
The only fault I could say is that wifi does not reach the rooms.
enjoyed my stay very convenient location for me, near to family , I would recommend this hotel.
fridge in rooms chairs in rooms duvets (and not blankets) good breakfast selection 8 - 10am breakfast availability
no internet in rooms not enough towels bath towels too small carpets a bit tired room 15 was cold
Location - easy to find and well signed off main road. Quiet next to parkland. Good parking provision. 2 minute walk to bus stop with frequent buses in to Manchester (£4 day travel card). Nice bar area with good value meals. Friendly staff. Amazing leisure centre facilities for the size of the place. Warm.
First room we were allocated was a twin on first floor. It was very damp and old fashioned and in need of refurbishment. The room we were offered instead was much better (ground floor). There are function suites near some of the rooms so if there is a party etc then noise may be an issue. No problem for us in the case of the re-allocated room but would have been for the first room.
Great value for money, lovely, friendly staff and good food
Homeliness and friendliness of staff. Cannot give any negatives at all..... Excellent value for money.... Staff even phoned me to tell me they had given us an adjoining room for our family stay - really happy and breakfast was cooked to order, fresh and great portion size too. Will definitely be back.
Everything was good
I stayed for one night, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was great. Breakfast was lovely! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel! Definately recommend it!!
cold room heating did ho work
Really pleasant and friendly receptionist. Helped us out with directions taxis etc. very kind and an asset to the hotel
Very slow service at breakfast
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Cheap and cheerful, convenient and the bar food was good and reasonable priced. Breakfast was pretty good too.
Bed was a bit lumpy, but what do you expect for £40 double bed and breakfast for 2. I never sleep that well anyway. Bathroom was a little tired, but again still good value for money.
