Lovely staff very helpful even in a crisis Good location Excellent facilities Cheap restaurant Clean Powerful shower and even a bath Lots of storage Have been here many times absolutely love the place nice atmosphere good breakfast in pleasant surroundings Will be back in December xxxx
The beds were very uncomfortable, horrible, lumpy and low budget. Other guests banging on doors in the night, neither myself or my partner got any sleep.
The food is second to none. Very good. Staff very helpful as well
Gym facilities for example showers do not work and are grubby
Staff professional charming and efficient
The staff were very friendly. The food was amazing and very good prices. The use of the spa etc my husband really enjoyed.
The establishment reeks of smoke and is filthy. The room was dirty, telephone didn't work and the TV was smaller than a computer monitor. Carpets in halls and common areas were worn and dirty. Serious breach of security in that staff manually write down credit card details allegedly for future bookings???
Old out of date room smelly carpets and walls no Internet in the room
Lovely hotel. Great breakfast and helpful staff
Walls in the room must be quite thin as heard pretty much every conversation all night.
Everything about the place. First stay in Manchester.
Staff were lovely place was grate
Mattresses could do with renewing and quilts instead of blankets
The food was very good we arrived about 8 ish checked in and orded food. We did wait a while but well with the wait.
The double bed we had was not comfortable every time we moved the springs were waking us up.
the price free parking free breakfast location friendly staff very clean
clean but a bit old and shabby
The breakfast was good
Poor condition of the place, noise of the other guests, and security of mind when leaving the car in the car park
The staff were great, very attentive, the food was excellent value for money - very tasty
The room, whilst spacious, appeared to be equipped for one person ( one shampoo, one body wash, one glass etc) although this did not ruin our stay it felt like the room wasn't quite ready for 2 guests....
Bed was uncomfortable Bathroom was small and dirty - asked for a room with a bath - got a small shower
Room prices are very reasonable, would not recommend it though and certainly would not return here.
The carpets are very dirty and beds the most uncomfortable I've ever found in a hotel, Drink and food prices are very low but so is the quality. Function room at one end of the residents corridor and squash courts at the other end, constant noise until about 01:30.
Loved the food, location, rooms were great, staff excellent.
We was greeted by very friendly and helpful reception staff. I loved the whole vintage lodge theme
The waiting staff for breakfast were a bit poor, one was chewing gum all morning. As soon as we walked in they asked if we wanted tea or coffee and toast with our breakfast but this took over 15mins to arrive after we asked 3 times. We also ordered eggs with outlets breakfast and they took ten mins to come and we had almost finished eating.
Most things about the hotel, especialy the facilities.
You can always find something to complain about if you look hard enough or you are that type of person; The hotel is a little sad and tierd and breakfast was a shambles but hey ho it was excelent value for money and it wont stop us returning.
Staff helpful & friendly Room very out dated Food basic no lattee Limited choice of breakfast. Most rooms had been updated sadly not mine.
Location, friendly staff, good food, clean room with everything you need- tv, tea & coffee making facilities and even an iron and board.
Beds were comfy, room was v clean, staff were really friendly, breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. For the price of £45 per room we were v happy with it we'd go back again :)
Food was excellent, staff friendly and very helpful. Rooms were clean. Nice homely atmosphere.
unable to open a window in the room, the corridor could do with an upgrade
Rooms are well worn.I dropped something behind the Radiator, when I retrieved it,it was very Dirty.
Location was close to our friend's home Cost was reasonable Room and bathroom sizes great Served breakfast first morning excellent Staff lovely Ample parking Our first room was very damp but easily changed at reception
Rooms could definitely do with a refurb. Light switches behind pillows Breakfast on Sunday and Monday morning was buffet, which was not hot and the stairs to tables made it difficult to have to carry food and coffee up them. Hallway has steps to different levels which makes carrying cases difficult
