Mercure Swindon South Marston Hotel and Spa  

Probably one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at (if you can get the prepaid rate) as long as you can find the hotel, find reception and find your room. The room was fantastic, big plenty of space, superb Queen size bed, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was self serve and excellent - breakfast staff very helpful. Didn't get a chance to use the leisure facilities but had a quick tour of them and they are excellent. An excellent hotel all round (especially if you get a good prepaid rate including breakfast. Would definitely stat again and for longer than one night - fantastic

You can't mark the actual hotel or facilities down, probably 10 out of 10. However it is a difficult hotel to find. Once you are in the car park it is very hard to work out where reception is and our room was located on the other side of the hotel via numerous corridors. Having said all that, I would take that room again.

Overall my stay was ok , but Iwas a little annoyed by the fact that the Wifi would not let me connect both my laptop and my iphone at the same time , without kicking one or the other out. The rooms are comfortable , but in need of freshining up , This all said I would still stay here again if in the area

I loved the swimming pool and the gym. The room was comfortable and the area was quiet. We shall definitely return.

The meals there were very expensive and so we chose to eat elsewhere. If they had been more reasonable, we would have stayed in the hotel. Due to the cost of the meals, we chose not to drink at the hotel either which was a shame.

I felt it needed a vending machine, as we were unable to purchase any soft drinks etc.

I had an amazing meal on arrival of smoked chicken followed by a main course of lambs liver, the standard of catering was far superior than I had anticipated for the cost of both the room and the meal. I enjoyed the relaxing spa facilities, the pool area was very clean, even late in the day when I arrived. Thank you, if I plan to be in the area again I will definately book with you.

The Spa and Leisure facilities were exceptional. The best steam room and jacuzzi I've ever experienced!! We loved everything about our stay at the Mercure South Marston!

Egg sandwiches in the spa were disgusting...

Our checkin in time was 2pm. We arrived at 2pm checked in and then went to the bar/restaurant for lunch. We were informed the kitchen was closed from 2pm until 6pm. This we felt was very poor service however what we did like was teh fact the bartender Danielle used her own initiative and went into the kitchen and made us sanwiches. Well done and thankyou Danielle. We did not expect a Mecure hotl to fail to provide such a basic service as lunch!!!!!

We went to the Bar/restaurant to get lunch only to be told the kitchen was closed from 2pm until 6pm!!!! We did not expect a Mecure hotel to fail to provide such a basic service as lunch. Surely if checkintime was 2pm the kitchen should be open to provide guests with lucnh. Danielle behind the bar did eventually go and make us sandwiches for which we were grateful but has wanted a cooked lunch.

The Hotels facilities were good though the price I felt was excessive.

There were a number of issues that I wont include here as I am hoping to resolve them with the Hotel personally though I may come back to you if these are not addressed.

The facilities are amazing for only a 3 star hotel
