I spent a single night at the hotel, which was ideally situated for my business needs. The room was a double and was reasonably well appointed and clean although I was unable to shower due to a broken boiler on the evening in question. I requested a wakeup and newspaper both of which were delivered on time. The breakfast experience was a complete shambles, I was asked prior to seating if I wanted full or continental breakfast. I informed them I wanted a full breakfast and proceeded to wait for this to arrive. After some 15 minutes toast eventually arrived and coffee. However no breakfast was delivered in the 40 minutes I was waiting for my breakfast and in the end I had to leave to attend my meeting. This resulted in me being charged 10 pounds for coffee and a round of mediocre toast, hardly a good experience. |

Good value for money, very comfortable, just what we wanted! Only crticism was that mealtimes and menus were unclear. Suggested before we left that details regarding these could be included in a factsheet in the hotel room so there would be no confusion - therefore saving staff valuable time explaining! |

I enjoyed the room , it was clean and more spacious than other hotels i experienced in England. The setting is nice away from all the hustle and bustle! When we ordered a bottle of red wine and it was just put down onto our table, without been opened which i thought was a bit strange, and i thought the waitress was coming back to open it but didnt, so we cut the seal on the bottle with our dinner knife and poured the wine ourselves.Maybe In England that is the custom, but usually the waitress opens the bottle and allows you to taste first and then continue to fill up the glass! |

Hotel was having refurbishment work done during the time I was there, and rooms appeared to have been done recently. Had a few issues with the key card to get entry into the room but the reception staff was helpful to let us in replacing the entry card twice. I wouldn't recommend this hotel currently as it appears to be having work done, but would go again when it's finished. Location is a short 10 minute drive to centre of Swindon which is around £10 in taxi although a lot more expensive when jumping in a hackney cab. |

The hotel was quiet and the staff were ok, There was also plenty of parking and it was not too far away from Fairford or Swindon. The rooms were clean and tidy Way to expensive for what it was, The entire place needs updating. The Breakfast was pretty poor for the price and the bar was a bit shabby. To be honest this hotel is little better than a premier lodge or travel lodge so if you can get a room here for those sort of prices it would be ok |

All the staff members at the front dest were professional and kind. They were always ready to help with our needs and ready to answer questions we had regarding our stay. We are so grateful for everything the Nightingale offered us as guests. Being able to workout everyday and enjoy the Leisure Club without added costs is so appreciated. The Instructors (Richard and Tracy) were welcoming, challenging and encouraging. The best! |
