Service at dinner was slow because there was a function going on. The hot buffet breakfast tends to be dry and overcooked - kept hot too long without any covers.

Nothing to dislike

The room was spacious and comfy. The spa and swimming pool were good. The restaurant food offers good value and was good quality. All staff made you feel welcome and went out of their way to be helpful. The room was reasonably priced.

Drinks at the bar were very expensive. One of the cups in the room was dirty. The decor and carpets in the corridors were not as good as in the room.

It was spacious, gay friendly, cheap.

I enjoyed the use of the swimming pool & cafeteria. I also enjoyed the food. The staff were very pleasant and I would recommend it. Would like to return there again some day.

Would have liked it to have been within walking distance of a public house, but not a big problem, hasn't put me off wanting to stay there again.

Good, basic and honest accomadation and service.

Main areas very smart, room to good standard, but corridors between reception and my room were dirty, with stained carpets and looked very tatty and cold.

Polite welcome after a long journey. Good information on how to find room. Atmosphere was relaxing.

Location a bit difficult to find from main road but it was getting dark.

My bedroom was cold and couldnt turn up the heater anymore. Bedroom could do with a little sprucing up.

Contrary to other reports we found the hotel staff very frriendly, the room was comfortable the food (evening meal) was well presented, the young who were being trained were polite and a credit. We only stayed one night but would have been happy to have stayed for longer.

Location but this reflected in the price.

We couldn't access the main part of the hotel on our return from a wedding, despite pressing the bell many times to contact the night porter

The spa.

Very tired hotel - rather run-down. Something as simple as some bleach will transform the bathroom! No need for mildew :-(

Well situated. Spacious and well furnished public areas. Comfortable room..

No shaver socket in room (extraordinary!) and staff could not provide an adaptor. And they could not provide a toothbrush (one of our party had forgotten to bring his). And those sticky tables in the restaurant - they really are dreadful.
