Unhappy as after my 8 yr old daughter came out of the shower I noticed marks on her legs. This was excrement that had come from her towel. I notified reception and new towel arrived within 5 minutes. Although staff were very apologetic I was disappointed that this was not followed up and that nobody contacted me after that to offer some form of apology or discount

it was very relaxing, the atmosphere is loveley, the staff very friendly but not over powering and the rooms were comfortable, clean and everything in good workign order. 4 ++++ There was a bit of a long wait at breakfast but they were busy. I could not get porridge, and my husband didnt eat the bacon as it wasnt cooked enough for him. but there was loads of alternative options so we didnt go hungry

What did I like? The decor in the bathroom was quite nice. The carpets and soft furnishings were also quite nice, but for £99 per night, you would expect this !! There is actually nothing else that I could comment on ! The tv in the room I was told by the Duty Manager was "on its way out, and there is nothing I can do" On arrival I was told nothing about the facilities ie pool, sauna, gym by the receptionist. We were put in a disabled room with no bath, although neither of us are disabled in any way. Upon request, we were then moved to a different room. The bar was rough looking and the food was not much better. There was a stain in the bed, and a tatty looking throw over the bed. Check out was 11am as opposed to 12noon with Premier Inn. Breakfast ended at 9.30am instead of 10am as is the case with many other hotels. The shutters on the hot buffet area came down at 9.30am prompt, although many dinders were still eating. Everything felt rushed. You weren't encouraged to use the leisure facilties - the facilities were the reason I had booked this particular hotel. The walls were paper thin, and the guest next door sounded as if he was in our bathroom! while we were in bed! There was also a rumbling sound all night coming from the hotel generators. I was able to negotiate a discount upon departure, although the person at the desk told me he would refund my card after I had departed. I told him no I wanted him to do it while I was standing there (there were no other guests standing at reception at this point and he was not in the middle of a phone call). The room had cost £99. We will not use the Village ever again, and will remain loyal to Premier Inn - always a pleasant experience and real value for money!!

I liked that it was near the town centre and had all shops etc near by, I liked the comfort and leisure facilities of the hotel. The only downside to it all was that I had booked to go for new year and as soon as we arrived we were told the 3 new years eve events they had on were all fully booked so we had to spend new year eating from the chinese down the road as they had put a last minute sign up to say the verve grill was closing early to prepare for the event and so we spent new year in our room. Other than that it was a great stay and we are looking to do it again

Excellent staff - Laura on reception - her and her colleague helped us navigate to the hotel when the satnav failed and greeted us very well on arrival. All was fine, room was noisy next door - staff member came up within 2 minutes to ask the occupant to turn the tv down.

The hotel is well place for the short walk in to the town centre. It's ideal for family & friends to call in, have a drink and catch up while I visit my home town, from my home abroad. The hotel its' self is modern with a great gym & pool. The food served is great with a buffet style breakfast to start the day. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Location was perfect visiting friends in Stockton Heath. Breakfast quality and selection was excellent. Little too dark and "trendy" Difficult to find hotel as branded v Hotel and is part of a leisure complex on a trading estate. However, nothing wrong with the hotel, has gym and Starbucks attached, so would still recommend for this area. However, do note, when they ask if you would like a morning paper, it is not complimentary!!!!

The rooms have been re-furbished since our last stay & were very nice , the bed was super comfortable. The hotel has excellent spa & leisure facilities which we took advantage of, it was not over busy on anyday of our stay ( 3 nights ) which is nice . The verve grill or the victory bar do not cater for vegetarians so we only ate 1 meal during our stay, I ordered fish & chips which I had to send back due to it been overcooked, by the time I was brought a replacement my husband had finished his meal , my meal came back just as overcooked as the 1st one & the prices are higher than they used to be so that combined I would not eat there again .

Good breakfast Nice and clean rooms Many facilities for families with children Poor window insulation. Cold coming in from the window even after closing the curtains. No plug adapter (European) available in room (had to ask always the reception?) Check-in and out times are odd; should be more flexible

Very close to the business park holding the conference I was attending. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was really good. It is quite expensive if you aren't going to use the facilities (pool, gym etc)

Despite having booked and paid well in advance I was moved hotel to one in a much poorer location for my short stay. I also had the expense of a second car journey and two taxi journeys because I was attending a function. I was told it was 5 minutes away it wasn'T. I was very dissapointed. I pick large hotel groups to avoid such situations

Hotel Rooms are very dark even with al the lights on, Bar and food prices really are expensive for a northern out of city hotel. Breakfast was an absolute shambles, no clean tables, no clean crockery, queues out of the door, really needs looking in to.

Combination of location, price and facilities were the reason for selecting this hotel and I was not disappointed with my choice. The room was very dark due to insufficient lighting and very little natural light. The shower over the bath was adequate but not very good for containing the water - common occurrence in these situations. Room service menu was okay and food good but quite pricey. Location of my room on the first floor above the fitness centre meant it was quite noisy at times and from the function centre on the ground floor when there was a party going on - easily solved by joining the party!
