Convenient for Birkenhead and Ellesmere Port, this Premier Inn has great beds, a Greene King restaurant and free parking. It is a 10-minute walk from Bromborough Rake train station.
Score from 138 reviews Good
A charming hotel steeped in history, set in the historical town of Port Sunlight, within easy reach of Liverpool and Chester, and just 5 minutes from the M53.
Score from 137 reviews Good
Woodcote House has individual, colourful rooms with great showers, and boasts a fantastic location for exploring Liverpool or Chester.
Score from 239 reviews Fabulous
Nestled amidst attractive gardens in the beautiful Wirral countryside, this 19th-century mansion was the first hotel in the region to have been awarded 3 AA Rosettes for its fine food.
Score from 185 reviews Very good
Quiet on second floor
1.was given a room with disabled bathroom and had to crouch to see in the mirror to shave 2. Shower had black mould all over. 3. Air con motor was very noisy
Restaurant & bar. Staff very helpful & pleasant.
Leisure facilities not staffed properly. Under 16s using steam room against company safety policy. Ruined the ambiance.
The spa facilities where good and children really enjoyed the pool. Great selection for breakfast and all staff were very polite and helpful.
The room was shabby and for this reason did not represent value for money paid!
Tv didnt have many channels
The facilities were excellent, food was gorgeous, staff very helpful and friendly
location was very expensive in taxi's.....they would definitely benefit from purchasing a couple of mini buses and using them as taxi's for their guests and charging a lot less than £21 a trip to liverpool town centre.
freindly staff good facillities good location
the music downstairs was load and went on until 1 oclock in the morning. the heater didnt work in the room heated towel rail didnt get warm quality of picture on tv was poor and very little choice of channels to watch
It was filthy and the mastic was a disgrace
Friendly staff, comfortable room ,hot and cold buffet breakfast.
the duvet on the bed was rather thin, could have been a bit more cosy at this time of the year.
Most things were fine
Our room was in another block so we had go upstairs across and down to go to the pool. I had asked for a room close to the pool for my daughter.
Had to get member to change my bed linen at 3am because the quilt and pillow cases stunk of damp. Only 'Dampener' on what was other wise a lovely stay.
Room was poorly maintained and shower was unclean. Good location.
The receptionist was very helpful
The room needed decorating and the furniture replacing. The walls were marked and the surfaces of the furniture bubbling. Tired and in need of money spent to refurbish
Thought the services was excellent.
Quality of the hotel that I would of liked for the value was poor.
We had asked for early check-in when booking our two king size rooms, and were able to get one room out of the two booked at 11 - with a promise that the other would be available at 12.00. We waited at the bar to get keys to second room (-before going to Hadock races) - but had to leave 12.30- still with no second room. When we returned to hotel at 12.30am - we were told that the second room had been given to other gests as we had not turned up earlier - and that there were no other rooms available in the hotel. We were given a ridicilous explaination (-of which we were told the following morning by other staff was un-true) that the Hotel always over books at weekends as guests will often not turn up. The same lying member of staff started to phone nearby hotels to find a room for us, and booked a taxi which arrived to take us. Unfortunately, there were no rooms in the other hotels either. At 1.40 we were given keys to a room - which was way below the standard we were expecting - it was a sort of family room, with a mattress on the floor, and a double bed mattress on a king size bed - cleanliness was not up to what we would have liked at all either. We were promised the following day that the manager would get in touch regarding our experience - we are still waiting for his call. Horrible experience and treatment of paying customers - ruined our night away. Not happy.
Cheap breakfast and rooms could do with decorating . Expensive £194 for 2 nights
Not a lot the only thing good was the breakfasts
Staff were helpful
drunken lads on the Friday in the bar swearing and being generally yobish 1 had to be escorted out by a doorman we ate in the restaurant ordered starters and main meals starters never arrived just the main meals was ordinary at best
Swimming pool, gym and spa
The state of the room (in need of decoration).
Our reception was handled very well. We attended a 60th party within the complex which was hosted by the hotel with complete professionalism. The night went well and the gym facilities with pool were outstanding. Highly recommend a visit and function. Slept very well and quiet also. Will return if in the area.
No complaints really
the room was clean and the leisure facilities were brilliant
in the bathroom, the shower wasn't the best, very old and dingy. Breakfast is good that they have a wide variety for hot or cold but the hot food wasn't hot at all it was like it had been sat there for a while and wasn't as hot.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming Food in the restaurant was lovely
Rooms were a bit shabby and in need of some tlc Duvet was very thin 2 rooms were booked several weeks ago and were "Best rate" guaranteed but did not include breakfast but a 3rd room booked nearer the time was a couple of pounds more and included breakfast. The 3rd room was booked for an extra night on arrival at the hotel and the price was the same again and included breakfast - seemed a bit strange that leaving it until the last minute got a better deal.
Really appreciated that they took notice of my dietary requirements, being Coeliac most places just tell me what I cannot have. However, the Village went out of their way to get suitable foods in for my breakfast. Greatly appreciated!
staff and location is perfect
numerous strands of hair on the bed. towels was greyish colour. the bath tub possibly had a blockage, whilst i was having a shower the bath tub filled up extremly quick. causing health and safety issues
