Very friendly staff, always looking to help. Excellent facilities and lots of areas to sit, relax and watch the world go by whilst enjoying a quiet drink. The overall appearance was good on arrival and the room cleanliness and comfort exceeds most hotels in this price range.

being kept awake all night by the noise of the wedding reception disco and dj, the room was nothing like your photos or description,dirty and uncomfortable , and as for the restaurant that was just as bad waited over an hour for the food and then it wasnt what i order,d and when i complained i got a lot of back chat from the gobby waitress,end,ed going to bed hungry with no sleep and after a 4hour drive up from windsor and the return jurney the next day i was far from impressed , NEVER AGAIN.

The staff were ok and the location for our need was fine

The Breakfast finish time on week days was too short. We came from London for a break not rush time for early wake-ups. We were presented with same choice of breakfast for 4days, got fade up. The room was not clean and it didn't smell nice for guest arrival and the sofa bed for kids had hairs around the edges.

You had to get down to breakfast early if you wanted a croissant! A couple of the breakfast waiting staff were a little brusque

Good swimming pool with sauna and spa facilities! Everything is up to standard with other chained village hotel so as expected.

The electric heater is like an oven! Way tooo hot if turned on. Thermostats switch is needed!!!

The bath in the room had not been clean to upper deck standard hairs from previous occupants evident small complaint due to using showers spa facility . the rest of the room was lovely.

Like: ~ the swimming pool and facilities in that area ~reception staff helpful and friendly ~rooms comfortable and clean ~good housekeeping ~breakfast fairly good, toast brought to table (like the old days), rather than having to queue for it would be better and baked beans dried up, should be replaced.

The hotel feels like it's primarily a leisure centre, with hotel guests being a secondary thought. Pool was too full so you couldn't move on the Sunday of our stay and temperature of water was much colder than the Saturday. There are limited places to sit after you've had your breakfast so you are forced to go back to your room I know the hotel needs to make money however the guests need to feel like they are valued. I was with elderly family who had to keep going up and down to their room. The lift wasn't working so they had to climb stairs for the whole weekend. Also thought bar prices were extortionate. Meal in the evening was good and deals offered were good value however we ended up ordering way too much food as our waitress didn't seem to know what portion sizes were or what accompanied each dish. Overall I did not think, my weekend stay was good value for money

Dangerous kettle, no auto off, handle stayed very hot. Cold bathroom. Noisy heater kept waking us up. No spare blankets provided. Poor selection of hot drinks in room. No DVD player.

Good restaurant and also has a coffee shop.

Car park and front of hotel not good for pedestrians. No pavements so you have to walk along the road and try to avoid being run over.

We had a humming noise coming from the ceiling that was keeping both of us awake that night. We did not complain as it was late and were going home the next day, we did pay a lot of money for the room and was disappointed about that.

Convenience of location

The decor of the hotel, restaurant and rooms is both tired and in need of upgrading. This lack of attention to detail gives the hotel a downcast look and detracts from what ir should be offering. The quality of the food served in the bar area was disappointing.
