all aspects of the hotel were excellent , staff , rooms, food

Service and friendly staff. We had a flashing light n the family room and staff dealt with it quickly, efficiently. Room was nice and clean.

Slow to clean up in the morning, the bar area is also where you have coffee in the morning and the area wasn't cleaned up. We had coffee there at 11am, and there were crisps all over the floor. Toilets near reception smelt bad.

The staff were all friendly smooth booking in. The hotel is a bit dated compared to others but its clean got everything you need for a short stay,lovely walk in shower,tea/coffe making facilities in room. tv etc. Quiet location. Good breakfast.

The meals were very good,and the place was nice and clean.

When we arrived the heating in the room was not on,and the room was cold,but was soon sorted out.

Staff was ok. The room is spacious and clean. In the future I prefer to sleep here than in Liverpool. Train (20 minutes) cost £ 4. Taxi from the station here costs 2.5 pounds.

Very small room Extremely small beds worried about falling out!!! Inferior bed linen Cold Bathroom Breakfast - surly waitress, lack of Teabags, bread for toasting. Tinned Tomatoes, cheap sausages!!

Stayed their recently while visitng my wife's famlily in the UK. To be honest the hotel was not our first choice, however we booked because it was a very convienient location. It turned out to be a great choice and great value. The hotel and restaurant has lots of character and charm, which is hard to find in the chain hotels. The rooms were small to midsized, everything was functional, comfortable and very clean (overall I woud give the hotel top marks for cleanliness). We did eat at the restaurant which is a very nicely appointed Itallian affair, food was to a high standard. We had breakfast each moring and really enjoyed the full english breakfast that was included in our room rate. Overall the staff very friendly and helpful. I would definately stay there again.

I only had one critique. Small one, but it was so annoying, so I will have to mention it. Unfortunately one day my wife and I while sitting in the lounge area had to listen one staff member behind the the bar gossiping endlessly and very loudly on what appeared to be the hotel bar phone. It was very annoying and unprofessional.

Lovely clean bedding and nice shower and toilet.

tea and coffe facilities very small cups and not enough milk the shower screen over bath leaked and it flooded floor which we cleaned up

The bedroom was clean and tidy and the bathroom was clean. The shower was good. The breakfast was good.

The hotel was quite outdated. Plastic flowers etc! No need for that these days the floorboards were worn and needed attention! On arrival! First impressions were not good. The hotel supplied our needs for the night but wouldn't book it again if I had the same occasion in Warrington.

Hotel was very clean. Excellent restaraunt. Very friendly staff. A little bit out of the town center but bus number 6 from bus station (not6a) runs every 6 minutes weekdays (less on sundays) and stops almost outside the hotel. Highly reccommended!

Everything good.

Easy, relaxed atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. Clean and warm room. Nicely decorated hotel with handy parking, convenient for shopping. Bus stop outside for travel to town centre and easy access to out of town retail park.

Considering the price there was nothing of note, although there was no lift which may be a problem for some.

The food was excellent and breakfast the same and also it is nice to see breakfast included in the price

It was a old place but with a new face slip on it...I enjoy my stay and recommend.

The feel a bit cold in my room, so I have turn on the heat but their didn't work for some reason.

I liked that me and my partner where warmly welcomed at arrivel and the food was lovely.

I booked for a double room and was given 3 single beds which was abit anoying I could hear staff shouting walkin past my room a lot which woke me up.

The decor of the public rooms and bedrooms was extremely contemporary, with a designer feel! The food was exceptional! What a gem!

I would have assumed that the restaurant bill could have been added to the room charge instead of having to make 2 transactions.

Overall we had a top time at the hotel the staff are friendly and could not do enough , food was a1 and room was perfect for what we needs would definetly use this hotel again and would recomend this hotel to people

Staff were brilliant very friendly and helpful, free car park and lots of spaces. Good location for where we needed to be. Rooms were better than I thought they were going to be, very basic but for the price they were quite good. Breakfast was lovely and it was nice that you can choose off a menu and get a hot breakfast freshly made.

Very loud music right underneath our room due to wedding, it stopped luckily about 12:45pm and we were glad we were back late from our own wedding otherwise we would have been fuming if we had to listen to it for any longer and you definitely wouldn't have been able to sleep through it!!! Only 1 pillow which was not comfy and very thin. You can hear everything going on in the corridors, doors opening and closing and people walking avout due to the creaky floorboards. You pay for what you get and for the price it wasn't too bad but we wouldn't stay there again!!!!
