A spotlessly clean and comfortable room and quietly located. All staff pleasant and polite. A country house appearance with plenty of outside seating. A very extensive dinner menu that gave us a 'fine dining' experience. Staff organised a very good cheeseboard despite it not being on the menu. Service was excellent altogether and there seemed to be plenty of staff around in all areas. It was disappointing not to eat in the dining room. There was a picture on the website and room brochure that indicated it was available but not during our stay. There was nothing wrong with the bar area but the surroundings (with large family groups and a large but silent flat screen tv) didn't quite match the high quality of the food. A quiet room or lounge for residents would have been handy. Otherwise I would definitely recommend it to others and would visit the Vine again.

Very clean and tidy. Warm and cosy. Stress free. Very pleasent staff. I found it a little noisy with doors banging at night. Not sure if it was other guests or the bar/ front doors down stairs.

It was very dog friendly which is why I stayed there.Nice room overlooking the garden and the bar was very welcoming. As it had just had new owners in I suppose it will take time to tighten up on a few small things like no walnuts in the walnut rissotto.no milk on the breakfast tray,no top up of the drinks in the room and a slab of black pudding that could be used as a cricket ball it was so overcooked. The room joined the private quarters and you could hear everything untill the early hours of the morning which was very annoying.

Family room (23) brilliant - Ideal for 2+1 kid in secure adjacent room. Quiet & comfortable place, excellent food although quantity a bit on the Nouveau Cuisine side and I like a bit of quantity - Thought I had a kids portion with the chicken breast! Breakfast (Full English) spot on. Had friends at the Richmond Caravan Park and 10 minute walk through a jitty - Need a torch at night as pitch black - Wife & kids a bit wary. Food quantity on selected dishes a bit small but excellent quality.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, the rooms were big and the bathrooms were most spacious. The staff were without exception extremely helpful and friendly. The bar food in the evening was very reasonably priced, tasty and there was an excellent choice. The two bars were also very comfortable and cosy. The breakfast was outstanding quality. In short, I can not fault this hotel and if I were to return I would most definitely stay here.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Vine Hotel, everything positive with great staff and facilities, how anyone could fault this establishment for the money is beyond me. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and tasted even better. Superb and quick internet service. Well done those great people at the Vine Hotel Skegness, If I am staying in Skegness again I'll be staying with you ! No comments for this box as all was great.

From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome and comfortable. The staff were superb in all areas of the hotel. The olde worlde style of the hotel was enchanting and kept in keeping with it's era.a special mention goes to the chef, the food was amazing. We only stayed for one night but have already have decided that our next visit will be for longer. No real complaints but perhaps a little freshen up of carpets, decor in rooms would be nice.
