The food was excellent and a choice of restaurant or two bars to eat and drink. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but beautifully decorated. The hotel grounds were lovely to sit out and have a drink in the evening.

The shower was just a mixer tap and a bit hit and miss. Sometimes there was the smell of food cooking in the hallways (but I suppose that is to be expected)

Lovely hotel, newly upgraded, warm and welcome.

The walls were that thin you could hear other members staying at the hotel.

A superb hotel in a quiet location. I loved it!. The food is good, the staff wonderfully friendly.

Room 6 is just above the breakfast room, and they put techno on the speakers at 6:30 on the morning.....

We loved how quiet it was so unusual to have such comfort in skegness , rooms were superb , lots of space too.

The hotel corridors could do with some extractor fans , we could smell smoked fish on the upper floor? Also the wallpaper in the the landing/stairs needs attention , its detracting the other things that have been done to modernize this hotel.

It is in an ideal location, away from all the buzz of the town but near enough to walk. Gibralter Point Nature Reserve is not far away. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It is a very clean smart Hotel

liked everthing from arriving , good food ,friendly staff, value for money,thats the only place vine hotel I will stay and I have passed on my view to all my friends and family

none didnt what to come home

The location was good for us, as we were visiting friends and family. the breakfasts were very good, staff very attentive. there was a good friendly atmosphere in the oak lounge in the evenings.

Our room was one of the "better" rooms ? We had a narrow staircase to get up to it as it was in the attic, there are no lifts in the hotel. The bedroom was a good size, but the decor spoiled it for us, we didnt expect the "MDF" effect. A building which is the oldest hotel in Skeggnes, should have more character. The bathroom washbasin taps were the wrong way round, as in hot water from the cold tap. The shower didnt work.

Everything, it was a dream from start to finish. I usually want to get back home to my own bed but not this time I wanted to take it with me. The food was exceptional and the whole weekend was cheaper than you can imagine.

If I'm trying to find a fault the only one I could think of was the carpet in the restaurant and that was all really.

Decor in rooms and dining room very modern and tasteful. They were extremely helpful when a room move was requested. Bar and lounge area cosy and full of character. Breakfast excellent.

i stayed in room one which is above restaurant you could hear music early in the morning appox 6.45am when staff were preparing to serve breakfast,so if you wanted to sleep a little later it would only be possible if your not a light sleeper.

Only 1 staff working in the hotel Sunday evening and when a fight broke out in the bar there was nobody on site to deal with the situation so all that the guests could do was sit and wait for the police to arrive while the group of very drunk people battered each other
