Lovely hotel!.....the entire staff are always attentive and friendly. The rooms are very warm and stylishly decorated and immaculate. Food was A1....chef knew his stuff!....nothing left on the plates here!....Very comfortable lounge with soft music playing made this a very relaxing place to wind down...Short stroll to the sea and pier....what more could you want?.....We love this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Ten out of ten all round. . There is nothing to dislike.

A lovely hotel with good sized bedroom, good food and choice (breakfast), helpful staff, and efficiently run. 3 mins from town, park and beach. ...and value for money. Would definitely stop there again. Nothing. Would recommend without qualification.

Excellent staff, I really couldn't fault them. Breakfast was fantastic, haven't had such a well cooked English breakfast even in a five star hotel. Dinner was also first class. Room was nice but very scruffy skirting boards, the redecorating that is going on needs to also address this. Shampoo in bathroom would be good.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly. I stayed in Room 30 - a tiny room, which made me feel that my stay was overpriced. It was noisy - the walls seemed to be very thin. Floor boards creaked in adjoining rooms. I would also have expected internet access to be available in the bedrooms and fast.

Room size. Friendly staff , spotless clean. Great location. Spacious car park. Could do with ceiling fans. Bit too hot in the night. Also would have been nice to have bottled water, even though told it was ok to drink the water. Maybe a mini bar fridge with little bottles of drink to be charged to account if used. These are the things I usually have in hotel rooms of this standard. But non of this would stop us coming again.

Loved the rich breakfast and the proximity of the Virginia Court Hotel to the seaside. Hard to find warm meal outside of regular lunch/dinner times.

The staff were most welcoming and helpful - especially the owners. It was a very quiet and peaceful hotel. There was a large sitting room for us to relax in in the eves with books, mags and games.Ideal for older visitors. There was plenty of free parking space - important as not much space on the road. We felt very comfortable there. My friend only had one drawer in her room - she could have done with more. Some of the decor, eg. curtains in our bedrooms, could be improved.

Comfortable room and bed. Extremely clean and very well decorated - possibly recently for new season. Good breakfast choice and general quality. Very quiet and in a nice road. Handy car park. Very attentive and friendly staff. Weak coffee at breakfast. A little steep at £100 a night for a room on single occupancy basis - but not untypical for area and at time of year. Bedside radio did not work. Not a good type with weak wire aerial. Tv did not work - needed new batteries in handset. One bedside light didn't work. Put something in the shower to support/hold cosmetics.
