A very quiet and comfortable night's sleep in a four poster bed followed by a delicious cooked English breakfast in the morning.
Comfortable bed, slept really well. Quiet!! Having a place to park car was a bonus. The breakfasts were excellent, and choices were good. Very handy for town, theatre, and restaurants. Eating places in town were of high quality, but better to book.
Negatives were few. Some seats in breakfast room were small and uncomfortable. Bedroom quite compact. Large cobweb in the corner by the bed.
This B and B was very pleasant, comfortable and warm. Parking was easy and secure, breakfast was excellent, the bed was very comfortable and the room, although small, was entirely adequate. The B and B was not more than 10 minutes' walk from the centre of town was ideally located for all the sights. What is more, we left our iPad charger and power converter there when we left (who doesn't?) and when we rang a couple of days later, the owner let us know that the items were there and that we could pick them up any time which, given that we were still in the county, we could arrange to do. It was a small thing, but very stupid of us, but the owner made it all very easy.
The walls are thin and so noise does travel BUT the other guests were also aware of this and so it was possible to have a sound and uninterrupted sleep because they, like us, were considerate of the preferences of others.
Walking distance to town center was approx 5 mins.
We had everything we needed in our room.
I cant think of anything
Restricted time for breakfast - too early Small room Could hear TV from other rooms
Very friendly welcome, generous breakfast portions, an extremely comfy bed and definitely unbeatable value for money. Nothing was too much trouble and the car parking facilities were excellent.
Very good location, close to the theatre. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast with many choices available.
Tim, was a friendly host who made my short stay very comfortable. Gave me tips on where to go and was generally helpful. Not sure if I would say the its a 4 star b&b experience but will definitely stay again due to the hospitality!
Mattress was a little bobbly but on the upside there is a chiropractic clinic downstairs!
Virginia Lodge is close to anything you want to see in Stratford. The rooms are always clean, warm and comfortable. Tim and the staff are friendly and helpful and can tell you anything you need to know including his personal theatre reviews! Parking at rear is really convenient.
Ok there is nothing not to like. It's a good B&B and you get good value for what you pay for.
It is within walking distance of the historic sites
Car park in need of re-surfacing
Good location for town good value staff helpful breakfast very good
Only one critiscm traffic noise if room at front of house.
Everything, the place the food, my wife is a vegetarian and the breakfast was perfect for her it was just near enough to town for it to be quiet but not too far away to walk,I was able to park the car in the lodge' s car park and have a relaxing weekend without worrying about traffic perfect .

Clean and comfortable. Good brekkie in the morning.
Very good location and parking on site. Friendly owner.
Could look more inviting from the front of the property
The location is good, just 10 mins walk to the town centre. Nice and beautiful neighbourhood. The room is clean and the bedding is good. The staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast was good.
Wifi signal is poor; Kettle did not work; Water pressure in the shower needs improvement; Checkout time a little too early.
The room is awesome. The breakfast are well prepared.
We came to Stratford for the races so this B n B was ideal for that but is also in a great location for shops and nightlife, plus being able to park at the rear was a bonus, would definitely stay here again.
-People feels that they are at home. Everything is nice and no need to think too much for booking the room in Virginia Lodge. -Good location and everywhere in Stradford-upon-Avon is in walking distance.

Bed, too soft!
Internet not on all the time, room cramped, parking cramped
A warm welcome provided by the owner was the first impression. The room was clean and equipped with facilities you would need. I love comfy bed and great breakfast.
