Very good,
Score from 128 reviews
“ The staff were beyond excellent. They were more than accomodating and happy to answer any questions we had. They went beyond that of what was expected. There's a desk which answers all travel questions, if they dont have the answer they'll google it. We were there for a Monday/Tuesday - the hotel lounge was busy on Monday and on Tuesday we went to a recommendation from the staff, the recommendation was exactly what we were looking for. ”

good location if you only have a few days to spend in London I consider the hotel NOT to be value for money as there were no facilities for the price IE no breakfast, no tea or coffee making facilities and our room was right above the night club which was open until 4am - we were not advised beforehand and had to ask to be moved at 2.30am. Their concept of having the bathroom as part of the room is not a good one as the rooms were small and quite cramped. Found the staff to be indifferent and not really that helpful. Hotel was advised of special birthday and anniversary but no special effort made. Finally, had to ask for room to be made up which I beleive should be automatic if you are paying that much for the room.

Location was great. Rooms look great; very modern. Noise. The hotel bar and music from a nearby club (?) kept us awake until after 3am.

Door men are very friendly Nice bar and DJ's The water at the entrance Design Problems with the booking. I booked on an internet site where I got the confirmation for the two rooms. Spectacular and Wonderful. As a request I asked an extra children s bed for the Spectacular room. Payed for we arrive at the hotel to get two Wonderful rooms. (2Nd room@ 16 o'clock!) Then when we want to move to the spectacular room one of the staff members tells us its not possible bcoz she can only see one room booked??? I had taken pictures from the reservation confirmation and her collegue was well aware from the booking and the children in the morning? Anyway instead of handling in a diplomatic way, the staff member shifted the blame in our shoes and said we should call the internet site! (Aren't they your partners?) To make a long story short, we had to pay almost 200 £ extra and the case was handled with poor attention and friendliness. It also took a lot of our time. - It's 2013, time to make WIFI available on all floors for FREE. It's not a luxury anymore and people feel stupid if they need to pay for it. (at the backpackers its for free) - The cleanliness was not ultimate - Spice market is one of the nicest venue's i have been to but breakfast is not nice. (pancakes are salty, poached eggs taste like vinegar, toasts are burnt...)

Staff were nice Hotel design - Did not like the bathroom at all - Weird design with the sink in your main room - No basic hygienic amenities -The area around the hotel is disgusting at night with regular sights of people throwing up, especially on the weekend days In the morning the streets around the hotel smell like urine -I wouldn't stay there again -Had higher expectations after staying at barcelona and L.A W hotels -For the same price, much more comfortable hotels -The check in was very late around 5pm, even though we arrived at noon

Room very nice. Bed was relaxing.shower was ok. Other areas in the room ok. Bar was nice area for an afternoon drink and chat. Staff were friendly and helpful. No tea making facilities in the room. Could not sit at a table in the bar in the evening as all were reserved although most were unused.lastly it was not clear who was a staff member as some uniforms did not look like uniforms.

The best thing there was location. Between Leister square underground and picadilly circus 1) You need to ask for everything: for slippers, for tea and coffee, for shower cap, for shoe cleaning tools. Nothing were there before. Need to call to reception. 2) very-very-very slow wi-fi (but cost 16 pound a day!!!) 3) uncomfortable automatic fridge: if you touched something (i put my meds on the top of the bottles) you will see in the bill while check out. Frankly, i will never stay in this hotel again!

The hands free phone was beeping all night and i was not able to switch it off. since the phone was out, i had to go down to the lobby and get help. apparently the beeping was a sign of low battery. that was a very unpleasant night.

The hotel was amazing inside very modern. The location was great. Door & bar staff very friendly and helpful. The room we were given was a smoking room which we had not asked for and could not change so ended up with a room that stunk of smoke. Reception staff very very rude and unhelpful, probably the worst I have ever came across and I have stayed in alot of different hotels. Felt as if even a hello was an effort for them and were not willing to help in the slightest with anything. Only thing that let the stay down was the reception staff.

Hotel is too dark and small. Room is too small and having an island in the middle of the room is definitely not helping. I have to ask for hot water cattle. We didn' t get the amenities that regular 5 stars hotel give for the guests. Shower room was smelly bcoz they don' t install any exhaust. Lamps in shower n toilet frequently off bcoz they give a time limit. Which is very nerve wrecking coz u have to give movement near d sensor again to make the lights on again while u r showering or doing ur thing! For the amount i am paying, the hotel is certailny not valuefor money. I would not suggest ppl to stay there.
