The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was excellent as were the staff, however after asking to wait a bit before ordering pudding, we were asked by four different members of waiting staff if we were ready to order. They should perhaps confer with each other. We ordered in the end. We were in a wooden room raised on concrete posts. Whilst it was comfortable, it was quite chilly and the bathroom was very small - we had been expected a bath. It was also situated in the middle of the car park on a green. Quirky but not what we were expecting at all and had we known we might not have booked - we were expected a little bit more luxury. Might have been because we had brought our dog with us and had been over booked at their sister hotel White Cliffs.

Having stayed there last year for a family wedding we were aware of the facilities but very much liked the relaxed nature of the place - very much a home from home.

Great staff and food was very good. Thought it was expensive for such small rooms and some of the appliances need attantion - poor cheap showers. Otherwise well looked after

Wallett's Court is a friendly and very comfortable hotel - the lounge and dining rooms are inviting and the staff very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool and spa and pretty grounds. The food was excellent - we had dinner & breakfasts and all very good again with seamless service. A very slight "glitch" we had with our room on arrival was dealt with promptly and courtesly whilst we were given tea..... Would certainly go again!

The house has been restored very well and our room was lovely. The bar area was cosy and pleasant to sit in after a day out. The dinner menu was very restrictive and expensive.

Breakfast Service staff were polite and very helpful. The "Executive" Room we booked was very small. There was direct access to our room from outside, leaving us exposed to any passers by. You could not use the vanity seat as the bed was so close to the dressing table. Cupboard doors could not be opened without moving furniture. The size of the room was a joke and very expensive for what you received. It was more like a Motel Room. We paid £170 for 1 night and were charged for a Newspaper. The people in the upstairs room could be heard using the toilet. Breakfast was pathetic. No baked goods available. Limited choice of ceral and our cooked breakfast was delivered on a plate the size of Heatrow Airport. A Very Unpleasant stay.

A wonderful peaceful atmosphere from the moment we arrived, in a really beautiful setting, only an hour's drive from our home. We could not fault the service or staff. A minor problem - our room on the ground floor was too hot and we could not reduce the heating?

Luxury room. Extremely clean and spacious. Nice touch with the complimentary local bottled water and biscuits. Beautifully decorated. Brilliant food and location. Safe parking right outside. All-round excellent experience and would come back again. Liked most of it very much indeed. One staff member at reception could be have been a little more people-oriented as we handed in our keys - a 'did you have a pleasant stay?' Would have been enough - but to simply nod in the direction of where to leave the key whilst on the phone was a bit impolite as this was our first stay! All the others were however delightful and very helpul and this is just a small aside as our stay was super and extremely relaxing.

The food and our room was lovely, we both thought the whole building and surrounding areas very nice, a lovely place to relax The only complaint which has to be said is the poor welcome we reeived from the main reception. The lady didnt seem bothered to acknowldge we were there as she spent ages on the phone, also on checking out the same lady was talking on the phone and did not seem interested, you need someone with a nice smile and treats new customers like they are special cause spending a lot of money on some where as lovely as walletts court new customers need to be treated well. All nthe other staff were very nice and welcoming.
