Staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Just a minor point - they hadn't read what I'd put in the additional information box on the booking form. It didn't cause us a problem but could have done. |

The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming after long days drive. I asked for a quiet room and that's what I was allocated. The restaurant served excellent food, cooked to order. The decor is a little dated and a could do with a face lift. |

The staff could nothave been more helpful and welcoming.I was made very comfotable and was pleased with the room which was very good value .I had a good night's sleep and was not disturbed by the proximity to the road.I ate in the restaurant which had a nice relaxed atmosphere and the food was first class.I will definately be back. no I loved it |

We dined in the restaurant and had a delicious meal and were able to take our time over it. We then had the fun of sleeping in a fourposter bed. It was a grand way to celebrate my husband's birthday. The cooked breakfast the following morning was really good, beautifully cooked and not at all greasy. They did not do floater/liquer coffees - which was a small matter but rather disappointing ! |

Not much, the breakfast was OK We arrived during a downpour,the car park was quite some distance from the hotel entrance the owner did not offer any help with our baggage (both my husband and I are over seventy) After we struggled in the rain to the hotel front desk his wife offered to carry our bags up to our room (no lift) |
